dear whiners/complainers/you know who you are

That is the number of pages in the crossfire barracks section. There are 20 non-stickied posts per page.

From page 1 to 5 there are roughly 40 threads with the subject of some form of complaint/whine/qq/whatever else people are calling it these days. That means roughly 8 out of 20 posts on a page are written with tears.

If we assume this distribution over the 2126 pages we get 17k, yes 17 thousand threads with people whining or complaining about one thing or another.

Some may think this thread is a complaint about the complainers, but it is not. It is merely a public service announcement. If you think it is bad here, you should go look at the other versions of crossfire being distributed globally. They aren't a utopia. If you download google crome you will have no problem navigating the crossfire world in a different language. If you are the bravest of soldiers you could install the other versions and see first hand that nothing is different.

The point is that there is no point. Resistance is futile.

For xtrap and shelter from the blight,
For black market and coupons, for clan mates and friends,
For everything Thy goodness z8 sends.

Cool story bro, you just add it up.

more of an anecdote than a story
  • Well written, but unfortunately nobody of those who make those QQ-threads, will actually read this.

if someone went through and deleted every single thread that fit the criteria would the problem seem lessened?

Only for a short amount of time. People will continue to make these threads in till the reason why their making them is addressed. Hiding the problem isn't solving the problem, and those who can't solve the problem usually whine to those that are able to.

Probably, but for that we need more dot's.

Regardless, no developer would turn their back on their product. It makes them money. It may appear that they did that long ago, but things are being.... "lessened"

the developer knows of the problem and is constantly addressing the situation. that doesn't really quantify turning their back on the product.

the majority of the threads have no value, so why not get rid of them? it is just repetition of a repetition of a repetition...

if it is the deletion of threads that is the issue, lock them and move them to a complaint box.

it is a trivial situation no matter which angle you look at it from

You know what I meant. People THINK they have no matter how often we tell them theyre wrong. In peoples minds, theyre always right

Its rather irritating seeing these threads but people do need to complain which is why we leave the odd one open.

True, they are redundant topics and most are actually deleted. Imagine the barracks with MOD permissions and being able to see all the deleted threads on top of whats already there. It gets ridiculous.
  • Good job forum troll. I hope there is a hack against you on every game you play for the rest of your life.

Ever think that without negative feedback the site provider would think all is well?
  • it's amusing how many there are daily hey doop?

it's odd how they can't see that the thread they're about to post has already been posted 3 or 4 times on the same page.
