Problem playing CF with sound on

Hi, please can u assist as everytime i play crossfire I have to put the mute button on. When the mute button is off crossfire crashes causing my laptop to also crash.

Ps I have tried the forums for a solution but could not find one.
Pps If there is a solution can you please explain it in simple terms as I am not very good with I.T.

is your sound card up to date in driver software?

are you playing crossfire as an admin?

if you use windows... for now try windows update to look for software driver updates

post back on what happens, and please dont cry

Hey thanks for the information, but could you explain it in more simple terms, e.g. how do i go about finding out if i am playing as admin etc
