problem in screen resolution

i have 2 black bars in the fullscreen . my resolution 1366 x 768 and i play the game with resolution 1024 x 768 and when i choose 1280 x 800 (wide ) or 1440 x 900 (wide) it tells me screen resolution is not supported by your monitor . how to fix this ?
