Zero recoil?
Why do downies try to contribute to general society, back to the cellar son.
OT: I don't know anyone who stands still and sprays, so I disregard most any test of this sort.
if the gun is different without any human interaction there is going to be a definite change with human interaction. -

Mhm, but it'll be a totally different scenario when it comes down to it and you're aiming for a frag. Chances are you won't be standing still long enough for the larger part of the spray effect to take place.
The only use I see of spray pattern analysis, is to judge similarities, not differences. -

So you're saying when i spray with an ak at the wall and with an m4 it won't matter about the differences when i'm actually using it in a match because the sprays on the wall were just to see similarities and they will be totally disregarded when i play in a match because it is a different scenario. -

No, that's not what I said at all, what I'm saying is for the most part, these spray analysis tests don't necessarily matter, it won't always go in the same direction. Besides, most frags take like what, 5-6 bullets, and most of those aren't all in the same burst.
I'm saying the higher end analysis of the spray pattern is pretty much invalid under most circumstances. -

People spray all the time, it is actually pretty valid. -
The majority of these people move and pull down at the same time, thus rendering any analysis of standing still spray invalid.
they pull the spray down according to the way the gun sprays making this valid because the way they spray are based on the guns spray pattern. -
I don't know if he gets it, but seriously if the gun has a different spray when you spray at a wall its going to be different when you're using it in a match.
I know the pattern will differ between guns, of course, but I'm saying analyzing the spray pattern when you're standing still aiming at a wall is essentially a wasted practice, due to said spray pattern being rendered invalid due to movement and pulling down when in actual combat.
The only benefit of spraying at a wall between two different guns, is to say hey, they have two different spray patterns in non combat situations.RawrJafrikan wrote: »
