gun skill q
I got some questions on how to handle a gun in some situations:
1. long distance, spawn to spawn in crossroads down mid, you have a m4/ak74. You are strafing back and forth fighting with another rifler at the end.
- should you jump? if you dont jump, you can set your mouse at opponent's head level and never move your xhair up or down
- aim at head or body? body shots are easier, plus your recoil can score you a hs, but pros seem to just rely on that first bullet for hs
- should you always strafe and shoot on the move, or shoot between breaking steps, like cancelling your movement suddenly by going opposite direction?
2. sniper v sniper, drag vs awm in crossroads will work here.
- peek out with a break, or jump crouch scope out?
- my understanding, is that if your ping is significantly below or above the average, camping is worse? and that you want to be the peaker? because people will see you, the camper, after they come around the corner before I see them? is this right?
thx

1. don't jump,
aim at body , more reliable plus they can duck and thus if you aim at the head you'll fail.
I would stay in one spot, no point in moving, he would be dead aready.
2.use the peek a boo trick, peek out fast, fire a shot and go back down, remenber his position ad peek out again.
don't camp in one spot, move to different camping spots, it's called active camping, it's different from passive camping where you just stay in one spot for the whole game. and yes, camper actually have a disadvantrage in the corner. -
Dragunov is a great gun, but unless the AWM user is a complete noob, you'll lose almost every time. They have a greater amount of room on their side of the barrier, and thus have a greater vantage angle. Take the Dragunov into the middle, and take out/ soften up the enemies there.
The Dragunov in real life is a long range support weapon within a squad. Stick with your team, picking off people at longer ranges and you're more likely to win.
Towards the end of a round of Crossroads, if I'm alone, I prefer the Dragunov. Why? Because if they're charging as a group, I need the higher ROF to pick them off as they rush me, the AWM is more consistent with the 1 hit kill, but if I can already aim for the head, I'd rather have a faster gun. -
