Best idea i've ever heard.sometimes several users not a hackers, but they play with hackers, shoot the opponents and do nothing to kick hackers from game. Imho, that players also must get ban. Not permanent as hackers, but temporary... per 1 month maybe?
I kid you not, If the community pulls this off (PROPERLY), then we would be rid of hackers forever. -
They cant even ban hackers, why should they do this?
because, play with hackers in your team is a unfair game. And if you start voting and loose - this is a one thing, but if you don't start voting and shoot opponents like as rat - you're a dirty rat. No more. -

It's pretty hard to make system like this, if they cant even ban speed hackers.
This is going to be impossible for them. -

Many don't know what's that a cheater. I once played against a one shot noob who also had cham and when I told them to kick the noob one idiot told me "he is good, he's playing with sound". Of course I responded to that guy in a very educated manner with "your mother is good".

Problem is, the people who don't bother, will usually end up coming to the forums and start complaining.
In the long term, the community deteriorates if they are not given incentive to do what is right. -

You just gather in a big circle around them and say "We care" a lot.
The rest is history.
Serious: If you found that your exp was being slashed in half because you didn't vote, you'd get mad, then you'd vote. If you voted for keeping the hacker, then your a jerk. -

maybe you have a reason:
if voting starts you MUST press F11 or F12. If you don't press F-key - you get a 0 exp and GP after game. Imho - that's a right way to make voting more important process... -
While your at it, add a complete ban on players who file wrongful hack reports to z8. There no different from hackers. True hacks get lost in the avalanche of false reports. That way true hacks will be quicker to sort and less QQ'ers will not risk losing their accounts filing reports if they arent 100% sure.

anyway, this thread has kind of run its course, this won't happen because its impossible to prove, unfortunately.
