    ujelly?

People like you are the ones whom I tend to dislike the most. From what I can conclude from the above statement is, that you're a selfish, spiteful individual who by no means gives a rats a-hole about anyone but yourself. Yet, I do find myself thinking, you're just trying to be funny in a disturbing type of way. Honestly, why would you want yourself profiled by that dim-witted statement you made? Whatever the means, it's really not at all, "Cool and Funny." -I'm not trying to call you out dude, but seriously think about that for a minute... :/

On Topic: Yes, I dislike this subject just as much as anyone in this forum. I assume this topic was not intentionally made to cause a individual any "grief", but at the same time this topic is way overboard and should be marked as flam-in my opinion.

Everyone suffers from one thing or another, and as this topic implies, some suffers from poverty. Let me tell you a little story about me and I'll let you state it as what ever you think of it. But let me begin by first explaining, how this is only to be thought of as an "example" and nothing else.

When I was 16 my father split with his second wife and took off to Dominican Republic. He made sure to disenroll me out of school before leaving. At the time I had no where to go with no family to wonder off to and only a few friends to seek for help. Unfortunely, those friends were as young as I was, and though they agreed to let me stay with them, their parents did not. Therefore I was left to wonder the streets a while with only the clothes I could fit in my backpack.
I had tried to go back into high school but the Principal told me I was not aloud without a parents permission and Identification, etc. I told them I had no where to go, and they simply told me this, "Go apply to one of those orphanage housing facilities in the next city over." It was rumored, specially around that side of town, how things were't too good, and a small white kid like me would get his azz kicked if not killed.
Yah I was scared at the time, but of course I found my way up after a few years. So the gist of the story is, what do you say to that? Do you hate me who was poor because his parents left him and had no family to go to? Yes of course I did not stay like that forever but hey, it was a hell of a battle-that I admit.

So be sure not to assume all this bs before you really take a second to think about things. 'Cause you never know the real story unless you're experiencing it for yourself.

An intense way of saying it, but yeah, in the current system, the rich get richer and the poor get more downtrodden. There is no such thing as the trickle-down effect. Hell yeah I'm liberal. I guess the way things are being done by the Democrats here in the US aren't working either, but it would happen if the conservatives would actually compromise...

Intense as it may seem, I find your total accord:)

Dont look to your governments. Look to yourselves.

You do not know me yet you're "assuming" all those things?
They were treating me badly, no time to have fun, study, study, then again study.
Yes, that led me to become a doctor with excellent grades but my childhood was awful.

    ^this.

I don't dislike poor people that can't do a thing about it, i dislike people that don't get a job because the government pays for all their sh*t.

I'm not talking about them, I'm talking about you, your aspirations and your ignorant hatred.

If that's the vision your parents instilled upon you, then they're the ones to blame.

My parents didnt instil that in me. I did.

I work hard to get the education i have and my parents dont give me squat. I dont hate them, I strongly dislike them.
  • I don't despise poor people or hate them. I just wish I had the ability to make everyone well-off.

However, if they abuse the generosity....that's a different story.

also depends on the context as well (how did they get poor?)

Interesting story. Funny thing is, that is pretty much how my dad turned out, a great doctor....but a less than mediocre father.

perhaps, but one day, when im living in a run down apartment unable to pay my bills, im going to wish my parents didnt let me stay out at night and run wild and skip school.

    Valid points.

Moral is, moderation in nearly everything.

Listen man, you want to hear about bad, I don't have stories for you, I have whole books by the tons for you to read up on. I understand, sh1t happens, that's life-I'm there with you 100 percent of the way.

Here, I'll let you in on some of the bs in mypersonal family life. My father is a druggie- used to beat me with belts, fists, and all before and after school. Stripped me down one time and threw me outside at night butt naked in Pasadena-Cali, in the mid of winter. I met my real mother at the age of 13, my last words to her were- Love you moms. Hers: Go F'ING die <- real sh1t man. I found out she was a mad alcoholic, I guess that's what had her going that day-who knows.

I'm not about to go into a whole life story here, this is a game forum, not some bs psychological site for loonies. What I'm trying to get at is this, I know what you mean by things are tough. Most parents I see today are like that-goons on some bs or another.
Yet, I find myself hard to publicly speak ill of them. Sure, I've cursed them a thousand times over, but to put it on display like you did, in my opinion lowers your stature and puts you at eye level with them. Yes, I was quick to judge, my apologies, but that comment in my opinion could've been reworded.

In other words, readers can't read minds, we judge from what we can see when you post your remarks. So next time, make sure to specify and explain exactly what you mean dude. Also, great job in getting through school and all, seriously, it takes hard work and determination to get through it all.
Something off topic:I'll be leaving to the United States Marines by January, two more weeks to go before I'm done with my college classes, I tell yah, these summer classes are no joke! It's funny how I never grew out of playing video games. Even now as a full time student, I still dedicate plenty of time for Crossfire! =3

Hope I bored you enough with my story,
    Cheers mate.
