Smoke

I'm not sure if it's normal or just something wrong, but smoke pretty much eliminates my fps.

I get about 110 in a 5v5, but if Im in a smoke I get 5.

I don't have a video card YET but this is the setup I got.

So is it normal that it decreases my fps by 100? And would getting the new video card sufficiently help with playing through smoke?
