Possibility of merging all servers in one?
I was just wondering if there is any way to merge Alpha, bravo, delta, and the UK servers into one server.. that would be the best thing that happened to cf, players in USA, Canada with low ping and the UK players with low ping in the same server.. so the America players and Europe players would play in the same server, together with low pings... is there any possibility to do something like this??

Short answer, no.
There's no physical way to make it so that a UK server and NA server are the same thing, giving the same ping to the players as they would have on their separate servers.
so there is absolutely no way of doing that?
but you gotta admit, that would be a blast

An UK server needs to be in the UK to benefit UK players, as a Canadian server needs to be in Canada to benefit Canadian players.
If you put a Canadian server in the UK, its a UK server, and will only benefit UK players.
(yes i realize not only canadians/brits play on CA/UK servers).
One could merge Alpha through Echo to make one big server, but that wouldn't benefit anyone - requires better servers, better connections. -

So there can't be any "bridges" that would lead from Alpha,bravo etc. and UK servers into one big server? All protocols would be re-directed into that server...
that's a shame, it would be great if it could be done..

but you gotta admit, that would be a blast
Ping is created by distance (in most cases) even though the internet is fast it is not instant, it takes the signals about 150 ms from Austria (middle europe) to the U.S..
And thats why the ping is 150 for every european on the US servers -
Actually, I almost think this could be possible, but not in the near future. My friend told me something about quantum entanglement, and from the way he talked about it, we could almost use this to create a combined server... Any physicists want to correct me on this?

Assuming you are a physicist, and accounting for the fact I'm using Mass Effect Logic, I guess I'm wrong.
BTW: are you saying that it's impossible to find a physicist in CF forums?

Like someone said, it's like wanting to be in 2 places at once, and unless you are a quark it is impossible.
