would you agree to this

would you agree if z8 were to shut down crossfire for a week or so to handle all of their reports and such and remove the majority of hackers (hopefully) or would you rather just play with the hacks in the game and try to be patient and wait?

i for one would go for the week without if it ment reducing the impact of or ending the hack wave

  • Report handling and Z8 itself are two different things, it wouldn't change greatly.

im refering to if z8 shutdown the game for a few days so new hack reports wouldnt be flooding in and they would have a better chance to handle the massive influxe of reports they already have
  • Well if report handling and z8games/crossfire is two different entities then why would you need it to shut down for a week? wow
  • That would be pretty good idea if you ask me.
  • I'm sure there is a dedicated team that reviews replays/support/QQ reports/Hes Probaly Legit Just Better Then You Reports. :)

No need to shut the game down. Cause then that is lost time of finding and reporting more of them. :)
  • i would be fine with it... miss a day or two of playing with hackers for less hackers...
  • Again if they are 2 different entities then it does not matter with crossfire if they get a million more a day reports. It only effects the report staff not crossfire. Again it is two different entities meaning they dont even touch other an d are seperate.

but part of the problem is that there are so many it can take weeks to finally get them banned if we shut down the game for like a week then we can catch up on reports and hopefully remove some of the hacking scum from this game
  • just think about how many losers that cheat would be losing out on their payed sub and be crying the blues
  • thats a terrible idea from a companys point of view.
sure us forumers would stay. the zp players the die hards would stay
but thousands of players people who are 10, people who dont speak english, they would just move on to the hundreds of other firstperson shooter games out there. thats potential millions of unmade dollars leaving to please a small market......right there totally gunn do that
  • they'd lose more money with that than to just leave it open and let people play with hackers. Also I doubt they'd be able to do that much in a week.

    BUT.

Doing so will just cause and uprise in more and more reports once it comes back up anyways resulting in starting back over at square one.(Where we are now will the overflow of reports)

Hahahahahahaha Ned Flanders with a pie xDD

Topic: Yes, I would even wait 1month to have all fixed :)

a vast majority of the hackers would have been banned by the end of the period hopefully leading to less hacks in game thus less reports to send in

o and they aint losing money now with people leaving this game in troves because they cant play a single game without a hacker unless they assemble a group of trusted people which is getting harder with everyone quiting

as for the comment "but thousands of players people who are 10" if they are 10 they shouldnt be playing this game its ment for mature teenage audiences

so technicly they have no right to complain especialy since they arnt ment to be playing a game and what kind of parent would let a 10 year old kid play a game where u objective is to blow crap up and kill people by blowing their brains out?

money trumps everything in the world
  • money trumps everything in the world

didnt you read they are losing money now with loyal costumers who are fed up and leaving so even though money trumps all they are still losing it either methode but my method would have the potential of stoping the hack wave

    1. they arent losing money.
    2. new people keep coming and they might get less money than they used to, but they definetly dont lose any.
  • The thing is most hackers just make a new account when they get banned, there is nothing stopping them from hacking. All this does is make them make a new account. (ever notice a massive number of low ranks after X-trap patches?)

Congrats for being the 412435th person to realize this!

Don't quote it if you don't read it.

  • I would agree.
But i don't think they will do it.

the "loyal" costumers have already probably spent the most amount they will spend on this game. if you spent 500 bucks on this game, you've reached pretty close to the limit, you might buy more zp every once in a while but compared to a brand new player whos just starting out. the loyal player is worth less. furthermore if you've spent that much money on this FREE fps game, chances are your not gunna leave because of ha.cks that have been around since forever
  • and going on with that, your method isnt practical, and probably isnt feasible. the united states government spends BILLIONS. BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS OF DOLLARS on their intel security firms that are online. and there are still people who are able to crack it. and they do it for free, so im sure as hell. whatever sh1tty little anti-hack shield they can code in a week, is going to fail on the first day. and no, im not mad.
  • What would these nerds we are do for a whole week o_O ??

I wouldn't really care, already have another occupation which is way more satisfying but I know a month or two ago I wouldn't have been able to quit CrossFire for a week. Just thinking about the nerds ;)
  • 1. they arent losing money.
    2. new people keep coming and they might get less money than they used to, but they definetly dont lose any.

less money is essentially the same as money lost

as for new players if you were new to this game and the moment u joined u were slaughterd by tons of hackers would you honestly spend money on the game i sure as heck wouldnt but then again ima rare breed a concience logical being
  • point is. theres no point if we all agreed to this. no sane company would do this, not while their still profiting.

and the money you say their losing. in the grand scheme of things its like a drop in a vast ocean. they probably spend more money catering the staff.
  • this would not work, actually what it would cause the game to loose a lot of players, they will go looking for other games rather than sit around and wait for it to come back. Personal ban lists/ banning abilities for host ftw.
  • No need to shut down the game. Even if we all agree, z8 wouldn't do it.
  • People are already getting orgasms when CF is down for patches or fixes. Imagine what would happen if CF got down for a week.
