GP and ZP crate guns were banned to give everyone a chance to play equally, without guns that can only be attained by luck (or spending massive amounts of zp). Guns such as Scar Light and M12S were also removed from the rules for being overpowered. Guns such as Xm8 and Type89 were banned for having 100% damage through wood. Guns such as Ak-47 Camo, M4 Silver and M4 Custom were removed to, again, promote an equal chance to everyone. Not everyone can purchase ZP and get ZP guns. Having only default guns enhances true skill and team chemistry as there are no longer any pub advantages.

As both ESL and WOGL focus mainly on 5vs5 matches, it is obvious they will also focus on Search and Destroy. There is no such thing as a restriction to jump, to crouch or to hardscope.

SPOP may have the same hitboxes, but the reality is that it has a psichological effect on players. Not only it is distracting as other character items are (i.e bunny ears, angel wings), it LOOKS slimmer, thus making the opposite player THINKING that it is harder to hit the SPOP.

The anti-cheat engine for ESL is everything BUT ok. ESL-Wire does not work and Moss is a joke.

The difference between clutching pub clans and ESL\WOGL teams is that the first ones are just plain terrible players, while teams that play ESL\WOGL are, generally, filled with very good players who devote a large time of their day to play against other competitive teams.

Your point is basically that you should use every advantage in your power to win. Which is pretty much true in the pubs that you play. However, on a competitive level, it definitely is not fair or cool to have one player with SPOP, Armor and Scar Light opposed to a player with default characters, default weapons and no money for any of the cool perks that you have. Being a Free to Play game, it is only natural that the Competitive Leagues try to support those who DONT\CANT get all the cool ZP stuff. Having equal opportunities - item wise - is what, in the end, ensures the best possible matches on leagues.
