1. No. I'd have to be pretty damn sure before accusing someone of cheating.
2. No. I don't kick without having seen the evidence.
3. Either side. Fair play is more important to me than winning.
4. No. I've seen hackers of any rank.
5. No. I've seen whole clans hack.
6. No. SL is annoying at times, but not kick-worthy.
7. No. Unless you started spamming all over my screen with that shit.

Okay well I think you're getting a good number of replies. Want to tell us what the experiment is on exactly?
Testing the community's mentality? Forumers always claim the others are those causing problems but these answers clearly prove we're raist too and are exactly like those we blame. -
Please participate in this little experiment of mine.
Watch this short video.
Then answer the short questions below, based on the gameplay, rather than whether you like my personality etc
1) Would you actively seek to kick vote Henryblah, either by complaining/starting the kick vote? (If Yes, Skip Q2)
2) Would you press F11 if a kick vote was started?
3) On which team would you be more likely to kick Henryblah?
4) Would you be more inclined to kick if Henryblah was a lower rank, e.g. corporal, sergeant?
5) If Henryblah was clanless, would you be more inclined to kick?
6) Would you be more inclined to kick if Henryblah was using a Scar Light/M12s instead of M4?
7) Would you be more inclined to kick if Henryblah started talking Portuguese?
End of QuestionsI just want to see how you guys go about identifying hackers and what factors affect your judgement.

Granted, a bit more video might have changed such an opinion as I usually observe a suspicious player for more than one life to see their style and gameplay while checking for suspicious notions. -

You also forget that the replay files don't always accurately display mouse movements properly. It's a simple hand gesture to move the mouse upwards or across. I never have to do much hand movement to kill an enemy. I also know how insanely easy to aim with the M4 is. His accuracy isn't superb as he had trouble getting the one near the end as well where he panicked from probably low ammo and the spraydowns. Almost all of his enemies were visible at one point or another before he killed them as well. -
OK, here's the preliminary results and the main things I was trying to find out from this experiment. Bear in mind, these results are heavily biased towards the English speaking, FORUM community. Meaning results are very likely to be different elsewhere.
I don't know about any of you guys, but if someone does that at the start of the round (which it was) and someone vote kicks, you have to make a snap decision. Whether you wait a while to check, but risk not being able to kick. Or you would consider certain factors, and whether or not they would bias your judgement, e.g. Rank, Clan, Gun, Race.
Firstly I wanted to find out how many people would kick Henryblah outright/report me just from seeing some short footage. In my opinion and many others, this is generally not considered enough to be damning evidence. However, at the moment it is higher than I thought it would be, even in a forum community, the figure stands at 11.1%.
Next I wanted to find out if people were more likely to kick if a kick vote came up. Either because if someone else believes it, they're more likely to be a hacker, or if it just confirmed their doubts. Not surprisingly, the people that would kick increased by 25%. (That is on top of the 11.1% that would already kick Henryblah)
So, what would influence that snap decision? I only put 4 options there to keep it simple. I know there are a lot more different factors concerned in actual gaming, but I thought I would just put it out there and see what the results were.
Rank was very likely to bias the kick vote for/against you. With 58% of the people being more inclined to kick a very low/high ranked player.
Using SL/M12s, often seen as Overpowered weapons by many people, would influence the decision making of 41% of people, despite the fact that it was a public match and people are allowed to use whatever they want.
What Clan/Or Clanless was tied with speaking Portuguese at 27.7%. Clan I can sort of understand, but speaking Portuguese? That was just as likely to get you kicked.
So there were the results, I hope you didn't think that survey was too hard to fill out.
Finally, I wanted this to be slightly educational. You have to take it from me that I know that Henryblah was not hacking, I was staring at his screen the whole time. So, think long and hard the next time you press F11. Not just thinking about someone else, also think about why YOU get kicked. Could it possibly be because of the same reasons you kick other people?
Also feel free to draw your own conclusions, completely ignore what I said. It's just what I think...

And people say the decent honest and intelligent players are on the forum, it's even worse in game.
