Crossfire Patch Problems

I have a problem with the new patch. After 25% of the patch is completed, it says "Failed to download file." My friend's computer with crossfire works perfectly fine, but it doesn't. Earlier, he told me that there was a specific link that somebody posted. He said that the link enabled him to access crossfire.

When i still try to do the patch, it doesn't even make progress even when i leave it on for 20 minutes.
