Crossfire won't Stop up

When I double click the shortcut for crossfire, I get the start up thing. But the problem is that it is shaped oddly and is also white.

I bought a new laptop and crossfire is unplayable. I can play on my desktop, but its really slow and laggy. I know I already posted this, but I really want to play crossfire. Tired of playing on a slow computer. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks to everyone who can help solve this or knows how it happens. :P

Try to run it as an administrater. (Right click icon, and click Run as Admin). If that doesn't work, redownload the game. If you are using a Mac, crossfire doesn't work with mac, atleast not of my knowledge.
