DEP wont allow Crossfire client to open

I meant launcher in title.

DEP (data execution prevention) wont allow me to open up the game launcher so i can actually start the game. It just started doing this right after the most recent bug fix on 7/12.

Already tried adding it to the list of programs not monitored by DEP. It says DEP has to be on for the game launcher, therefore linking to the same problem.

Any suggestions?

Try running patcher_cf.exe directly. There was an update to the launcher (CF_G4box.exe) in the most recent patch.

Alright, ill be sure to do that. Im doing a clean install to check if that helps. Ill let you know what happens when it's done.

May not make a difference, but worth a try. I was going to test on my PC with DEP enabled but I'm far too lazy to reboot :P

Z8 did some big changes to the launcher. Looks like they're planning to implement BitTorrent for patches.
