Clan Points?

Wondering how the Clan Points system works, more specifically, the rankings in the clan.

So I just joined a new clan, I woulda thought that I would of started on 0 clan points and it would slowly work the way up once i get 500 exp; but no.

I joined a clan and instantly I already had 350 clan points and was ahead of members that had been there previously for a while.

Another question, I read 5% of the clan points is taken every week to accumalate for the Clan Rankings, does the points reset too each week or each annual for clans for members?

E.g If i just joined a new clan would there be a time where every members clan points accumlation resets so everyone can start again and compete more fairly? Or is it always just an overview of the total points each member got?

So two questions i got and it might be a bit confusing, please help !

That is the clan point amount you would have had from the time you were able to join a clan to when you did join.

Every Friday, 5% of the clan's total points are removed. There's no reset to zero or anything at any time, and this doesn't affect your own clan point total.

What does that mean?

So the time I was able to join a clan, that would be CORPORAL rank, i accumlate clan points from that day even if im not in a clan? And then it all just adds up when i join a clan?

Your points carried over, and for ur other question on the clan points get taken not the member points
