I support ya. Back in 2009 I wanted to lvl so much to buy an SL. And if you check my current acc I dont even bought it...

I would day use it in pubs as much as you like, but scrims? NAAAH. Ever thought why it wasn't a WOGL or ESL approved gun? So just use it in pubs and don't let QQers stop you. But don't use it in E8/CWs/Pugs.

I too remember back in the day, when SL was the gun of choice. Everyone had one, of course back then I just played TD and not much SnD. I am an old school fps player from way back in the day when the only mode was FFA, and your choice of weapons where machine gun, shotgun, rocket launcher, or chainsaw. Here's the skinny if you can't frag a guy who is using a SL then maybe you need to practice and try a different approach. IMHO if you own ppl with a SL (or any other gun considered noob) you'll get called a noob, but if you own ppl with a M16 or similar you'll get called a hack. The point is those ppl will cry no matter what, so bring back the scar light and lets get rid of all the cry babies.

The SL isnt noob, people just think of it as a "fast way to kill" and disapprove of it. Most people in the game are unapproving of the SL (sadly). If you want to make your own decisions, use the SL. If you want to earn the respect of others? find a different gun. GL

That was the BEST time on Cf the time when we could use all the weapons we wanted without anyone QQing about it
Thats why i'm starting this project
I want to revive SCAR LIGHT =O
In memorie of the old and good times
I'll be using Scar Light every GM, SND, T&D, MM, HM, ESCAPE MODE, FFA match
Hope you guys support me
Let's rescue that old and great time

Well, I care much about what ppl say and think, But I always have 1 condition to do that (to care)...
That Condition is that: People whom I care about might 1st make some sense!!! -
SL is not that bad most guns have the advantages and disadvantages and the only reason people moan about it is cause they get killed by it.
And if it is easy to kill with and your dieing from it you should blame yourself not some guy that just killed you. -

SL is for noobs you use it because you can't play with anything else, and therefore you are ruining the game for others. Noob. -
So someone has a better car then you your going to QQ to them and call them noob?
That analogy does not work. In any race, there are rules concerning the blueprint of each car. Just as in WOGL. Yes, people use Scar Lights are noobs per se, in the definition that they use much less skill than someone with say, an M4A1. -

Thats why a M4 is a starter gun cause its so easy to use. To be the best you have to play people with the armour, spop, sl, m12s. Plus Sl is just a m4 with a tad bit more power. Not as if that makes any difference -

Leagues rules are based on idiotic assumptions and hypocrisy. Scar light is really easy to master, bursting is easy as hell, but that's the only advantage SL has and it makes this gun quite limited. M4 and Tar have higher RoF, AK and QBZ are more powerful, G36 has low dmg but higher RoF and 100% wallbang, xm8 100% wallbang.
SL makes bad players mediocre, mediocre become decent, but it doesn't matter at all what good and godly players use, it's more personal choice than actually matter of a gun.

you won't get kicked with it if you don't play in echo 8 in weapon limited pubs
some of the pubs in echo 8 people don't care, but other times if you even have like flash goggles they will kick you -

There reason why weapons are banned is because there is some hypothetical "ideal" competitive gameplay. League rules are structure in a way that the competition mimics this non real thing as closely as possible. If something doesn't fit into the metagame that the league organizers want they limit it. You have to realize there was a time when scarlights were allowed in competitive play.
I consider myself one of the "pros" or whatever, but what people fail to realize is we are just ordinary pubbers at times to. I enjoy pubbing with my spop and m12/scarlight as much as the next guy. You just have to be respectful of the crowd you are playing with. -

Leagues try to determine the "best" in terms of skill level, not how much money or what level the players are. I'll take your argument on a point by point basis. First, you say the scar light "is really easy to master," AND "bursting is easy as hell." You forgot the power of the SL also. Plus, in competitive play, you mostly see bursting as you pointed out, which makes RoF null and moot.
In order for snipers to compete with riflers, an awm is necessary. You can not spray while sniping as you can do while rifling, and with the slow movement, reload speed, and RoF, the AWM is not overpowered. Thus when you have a good AWM'er vs. a good rifler, there is an even match.
