Wait, I would also like to add that British people are ignorant about the actual knowledge of most Americans. However that is also for a different thread. =P -

i've been visiting the UK a lot lately, and I still remember the time when giggletron dodged when I asked him to meet me.
You mean when I asked you to hop on a train for London. Oh the fun we could have had :') -

british people are far more ignorant than americans. they also have a very annoying accent after 5 minutes. and the crime rate is terrible.
england is just butthurt that usa is so much more advanced. -

The accent is a matter of opinion
US
In America, the crime clock continues to click: one m.urder every 22 minutes, one r.ape every 5 minutes, one robbery every 49 seconds, and one burglary every 10 seconds. And the cost of crime continues to mount: $78 billion for the criminal justice system, $64 billion for private protection, $202 billion in loss of life and work, $120 billion in crimes against business, $60 billion in stolen goods and fraud, $40 billion from d.rug abuse, and $110 billion from drunk driving. When you add up all the costs, crime costs Americans a stunning $675 billion each year."
UK
"According to Home Office Recorded Crime Statistics there were 5.2 million offences recorded in the year ending March 2001, down 2.5% per cent on the previous 12 months.
Violent crime accounted for 14% of all recorded crime yet over the past five years violent crime has fallen by 22%, domestic burglary is down by 39%, and vehicle crime is down by 26%. "
Also this is not the point of this thread. -

How old are you? That was completely opinionated and gives backup to the stereotype of Americans being ignorant. -

Island nations usually tend to be great, have been great, and continue to be great. Look at Japan for example. What a beautiful nation.
That and these guys brought me Topgear.
What a fantastic show. I just watched a recent one where they went to Albania -

Still confused? Then.... well... meh
I applaud the sharing of this subject. Being English and a student of History and Politics I can become smug with the Truth of my nation. But after 30 sec my conscience pierces my Ego and the guilt from the realities of the crimes perpetrated to make this "Great Empire"
- for it still is, though under corporate management - makes my soul weep.

I mourn the loss of my innocence when a song like this would have made me believe in the power of our countries History. Now I am lost in the truth:(
Tasty reminder below of the Grace and hope in our shores:) -

I actually went to a Car Show in London in 2006 where TopGear was also. I managed to get a picture with them and an autograph. Not to mention some of Top Gear is filmed a 5 minute drive from me. -

The only upside in my humble opinion is the accent can make anyone, no matter how stupid, sound intellectual.
It's pretty appalling.
Depends who you talk to. Most UK people on games speak like they are black. When they are White.
