Necroposting

Its fine to necro as long as you add to the discussion.


Its not really going to matter a whole lot though. Usually the Mods close threads they dont want to hear about or even see and some close them with literally the worst reasons. Take for example the oh so well known "Discussed multiple times" response. You see it and so you know what you do? You go and use the search bar. IF your even lucky enough to find a thread, you see that it was closed because of either the same reasons or because of argumentation. This circular logic is what makes people like me mad.

All in all, Hopefully the new Mod actually moderates.

One, There is no need to argue with each other.

Two, Don't call someone a "wannabe mod" for giving the answer YOU asked for.

Three, he wasn't being sarcastic, he gave the the rule itself, if you think that's sarcastic, you don't know the correct definition of the word.

Four, Yes, we do delete/closed threads that have been necroposted AND infract for it. This can be anything from about 3 weeks + seems to be the rule of thumb.

Five, In certain cases necro'd threads might not be closed and/or deleted. Certain cases like Forum Games, or something that actually gives info, and won't make for a new thread, can be necro'd. An example of that is my birthday thread
