Four more years and my brain's dead.o.O
Last week in Psychology, we studied the brain and how it functions, etc.
Here are some fun facts to grasp our brains around:
1)Only two times in our lifetime are human brains able to develop- ZOINKS!
a) The first time is between, 0-7 years of age.
b) The second time is between, 18-25 years of age.
With that in mind, what happens with our brain after the age of 25?
a)Do we drop dead?
b)I eat my veggies-I'm pro-life!
c)I'm a Zombie, I EAT brains!
d)Brains are for noobs- I pawn yah with mah killah instincts.
e)I read a lot- I'm safe from brain malfunctions!
"Share with us your answer" -(BE HONEST)
Here is the answer:
The closest answer is, (e). Why? Think of your brain as the process to making a,"Clay Pot", Ex: A vase made out of clay to keep your flowers in(For those who might not know what a "Clay Pot" is).
-You must keep playing with the clay on the spinning wheel to shape and form it to your liking( If you've played the game, "Runescape", you'd know about it from the Crafts skill).
-It's the same thing with our brains, we must keep forming it and shaping it, or else you can turn out to be like those old batty-folks. I'm sure one or two of you can relate; my grandpa always seems angry and lost about one thing or another-
.
Hope you guys found this a bit interesting. The main reason I posted this is because I've recently turned 21, and when my professor told us this, I was like "DAM", four more years and I'm brain dead.

Hey there,
I'm a student Social sciences, that means I get Social and psychical sciences also.
I'm not going to give you a full answer...
I just wanted to say the theorie isn't really correct.
I'm afraid you'll have to get back to your studies, my friend!
PS: A part of it is correct, but the brain undergoes more than two huge changes.
Together with other theories you'll probably learn later on, the theorie you give is actually the basic of all the other theories.
It's like the atomic system. Dalton had the first one, Thomson made it better, Rutherford wanted to proof Thomson was correct but found out he was incorrect and he made another atomic system. After that Bohr showed up and proved even Rutherford was incorrect, and so on.
Theories will get bigger and bigger, better and better.

Guess I get partial credit
. But yah, I agree with you! Psychology is not like math-a solid answer and that's it. Physchology is always changing because people are always finding new things about it... Anyways I'm not a specialist in psychology, far from it. Still think this is a fun topic to talk about

Its a wonder why they dont have laws.
Wasn't trying to be serious about this topic, which I'm sure you got that in the reading haha
. I'm only taking this class as a college credit, after that, it's swept under the rug-never to be found again! =3 -

I understand you don't believe in it, it's a difficult subject.
I wouldn't say they are incorrect or a joke... They really help a lot of people.
Of course, you have to right to be sceptical.

Well, the most crucial part for becoming a well-developed person is early teens, where parts being used are made permanent, while parts not being used are discarded and will take a lot of training getting back in speed.
This is why preteen isolation is such a huge problem.
You'll lack the necessary social skills to converse and interact normally, unless you work hard at it and practice. Something that comes naturally if you're an active social child during brain development.
Myself being a prime example. Isolated preteen, will never be comfortable in social situations, but other parts got priority and gifted in other aspects instead.
