The Community - What's expected and what needs to change

You're looking at the tree not the forest. I did NOT directly say the community was bad, now did I?
You can take from it whatever you want, not going to argue over it.
If you still feel the need to continue this discussion, which I don't even get what you're trying to point out at this point. Feel free to PM me.
Im not directing this to you only.
Just the majority of the people who have openly stated there views and claim that these are "facts".
With all due respect, the community is completly fine. -
Rex said he had some way to get the replays straight to support instead of going through the support reporting. Seems like MODs can already do the in game MOD thing, in some way.
That's part of the buddy system that they say they don't have with the
higher ups. It's true the forums are much better than they were before but I believe that we can do better.
I totally agree with this. Every day strive to make yourself a better person.
That's my motto.RawrJafrikan wrote: »I find this thread somewhat ridiculous.
All in all, this is ridiculous to claim that the community sucks or is ungrateful.
Why do most of the threads that you get involved with degenerate so rapidly?RawrJafrikan wrote: »http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/seriously
How am I using it incorrectly tool?
This has nothing to do with Tasty. Why would you even start to mention.... You know what, forget it.
Learn english. And whose the real person thats mad?
Funny thing is you just peformed a Red Herring fallicy so there is your proof. You want more? Look at your previous statments and use your eyes. Post count and reputation mean nothing.
At least I have something useful to say instead of making a futile attempt at attacking somone by looking at their posts.
And No one here is "Bashing" the thread. This thread is ridiculous. You guys think that the community is quote on quote bad, and I dont belive in such a shallow judgment.
Use the dictionary that you found to fix your syntax please! You're looking at the tree not the forest. I did NOT directly say the community was bad, now did I?
You sure did not. May I add you as my friend?

That's the internet for ya! If this were real life half of the people on this forum that go around trolling and flaming and acting ridiculously stupid, wouldn't have near the guts to say or do half the stuff they say and do on this forum or generally the internet, in real life.
What you described seems to be the internet to me, although I try to be a normal mature person, a lot of people who are even in their 20's break out a huge amount of immaturity online.
But ey, what are you going to do? This is online, there is no face to face, therefore everyone is going to hide behind their computer screens and start typing a random amount of sh1t. -

Couldnt' agree more, 100% undeniable fact

Of course that's the internet, but a forum is different. We post, discuss together and we get to know each other, hence we build a community.
When a community is built, without noticing it. It comes down to the members to handle and ensure further growth. -
Americans are crazy xD. How about for breakfast, you didn't eat toast, right?
And I'm feeling better than I ever had, to answer your question.
You're feeling that good cuz your girl is French
And independence day, Americans should get beer in the morning, champagne for lunch, and Jack for dinner (that's what I'll do in 9 days) -
Tbh I haven't ate breakfast yet, slept at 5.15am and woke up at 10, it's 11 now. Haven't got out of py bed yet xD.
Isn't that your everyday life in summer vacation (with a bonus hangover) ?It's 4 a.m. here. Just finished my cereal. GTG2 work. Have a good one!
Oh have a good day at work (well, at least try) -
1) Play League of Legends and go on the forums. Now I've been a member of the forums for a very long time. I've seen mods come and go and I've done my fair share of contributions to the community. While I spent my time here I did a lot of observing and participating in the "community".
When you think community you believe that it's a bunch of people who are well acknowledge by one another, can make discussions together and can behave correctly, share ideas and cooperate in the bigger picture, with limited or no discrimination.
That's how a good to a great online community should be, however on Z8Games forums it's not like that. It's painfully obvious where we pale to meet that expectation line.
Members of the community have very little to no respect for one another and their opinions. It's true, on any threads instead of positive feedback, there's going to be negative feedback, insults and generally disapproving attitudes.
That being said, what will result is a split community where half support, half don't. The scenario isn't a pretty one, but that's how it is. This really needs to change, it only makes the situation worse and remember, this is your community. You don't want to hurt it any more than it is.
Another issue that arises is that posts/replies made by members of the community are sometimes... ridiculous. Without even noticing it, a legit thread can turn into a battle between individuals to see who has a better .gif or motivational posters in attempt to mock or disrespect the original topic. Another thing to discuss would be the fact that a large portion of the community cannot take criticism. Regarding it as "Troll". Which isn't necessarily the case. The community really needs to learn to take comments, feedback and replies in a more positive than negative way, this will result in a more productive community where most, if not everyone will be benefiting.
And finally the most interesting topic that's very popular as of yet, the discriminating issue. Remember, since this is a community, it works like a real life community. Older members who have more respect act as role models for the rest of the community to follow. Some of the role models however are not so kind on the discrimination thing going on, namely against the Brazilians. Once you see one person who decides that cracking wise jokes about another culture and it's people is funny, it gets the ball rolling. Over time that ball gets bigger and out of control as it is now.
As young adults, which many of you are. You're representing the community of Z8Games crossfire. Going out, throwing tantrums and applying profanity to conversations about Brazilians will only throw a bad image of our community and thus make the communication gap only wider. So in essence, instead of hating on the younger generation of gamers around the world. Welcome the idea of global village and grace other nations to our community.
Just my two cents on, well, The Community.
2) See what's happening there everyday.
3) Compare Crossfire Forums to League of Legends Forums.
4) ???
5) PROFIT! -
League of Legends is an excellent game with a shit community and a even shittier server host (eu).1) Play League of Legends and go on the forums.

Most the rooms crashed and pretty much everyone got kicked to the lobby and the amount of hate towards some country's and religions is just out of order. But theres a few that are more mature then the others talking about why religion is good and theres no flaming them so theres hope yet.

Personally I just ignore the people who troll or just wanna be idiots on the forums.
Idiots: People who QQ about Br's, Turk's and complain there isn't enough GP guns and that all Z8 care about is ZP and not members.
Trolls: Lifeless people who sit in all day thinking they control the internet. Just pure sad'os & complete idiots to me. Also people supporting trolls(Like TastyLimes) doesn't help at all. -

Honestly, I would think that w/o trollers, the forums would get extremely boring, but more efficient. I dont no which one i would like the best 0.o
Edit: But it would be better if we lost all the "trying trolls" like the one above me -_-
Edit: Like the two above me
