FPS lag.

Alright so up until last week since they "supposedly" capped this games fps rates to 250 for some odd reason my fps stayed at 30 constantly and spiked to 75 on occasion say once or twice every hour lol... any ways i fixed that issue. but for some reason now... it says im getting 75-150 fps in 5v5's yet im still screen lagging.... my screen refresh rate is standard now its causing me some serious issues while scriming. i never used to lag when smoke appeared i never used to lag randomly when i looks round corners... or for an entire half..... i have everything in low settings ive tried it in high settings but its worse... & ive used the catalyst control center that come to lower the graphics in game even more.

now im getting 20 fps which is unplayable.

heres my computer details.

AMD Athlon(tm)64 3800+ (processor)
2 GB of ram
ATI radeon 5700 serious 1GB HD (Video Card)
IIYAMA vision master pro510 (screen)

can anyone help me fix this?

That processor really holding you back, your GPU should handle this game no problem and 2 GB of RAM is enough for CF. I honestly don't know what to tell you except buy a new CPU/Motherboard.

I Have the same Problem

I have an AMD Phenom Quad Processor. Computer is about 1 1/2 old. I never had any issues until the Navy Seal Patch came in. I had a constant 70 - 80 FPS during my games. Now, during a 12 Minute game, my FPS will drop at least 2 times in the 12 minutes. It will stay dropped for about 2 Minutes each time. My Drop rate is 6 - 7 FPS. I just sit there and die. I did put in a trouble report to Z8Games and got the generic asnwer that the game servers are in the North East and UK and that could be the problem. I live in New york and have FIOS internet. Thats not the problem. I don't think he even read the problem. Any help with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

This being a game more based on your CPU means that you will have low FPS with yours, because it sucks, while ur graph card and RAM or more then good enough, seriously, buy a new CPU.

Anyways, today I had a prob with FPS also, I usually get 130-230 FPS even while 8v8 with smoke and etc, I loged in to play GM and was having 60-80 FPS, restarted the comp and I got back at my usual FPS and this never happened again.

Dont know if that's relevant or not, anyways gl.

Yeah. I did the clean re-boot. It still happened. I am kinda bummed right now. I only play crossfire on the computer. Everything else is school work. I hope they find a bug in the patch and they fix it.

Problem Found

I re-formated computer and re-installed Crossfire did the trick. Something in the patch at the time did not agree with my computer. It took an entire weekend, but I can you everyones butt again.

FPS lag.
