in hero mode like with 5 mutants chasing me

  • What I tend to do is run around in and out of them with a pistol if there's too many chasing you. Or if you're feeling lucky, spray spray spray. :D
  • pull ur pistol out and run!
run around jump on boxes, from wall to wall and so on, to make it hard for them to follow
  • Some of the things that have helped me
    • Try to avoid running in straight lines run in zig zags
    • Try jumping over obstacles
    • If your up somewhere high with a ledge try running as if your going to jump off then quickly jump back
    • try to avoid running into tight spaces/corners
    • Save as much pistol ammo for situations like this
    • Jumping on top of mutants sometimes works
  • You need a MG like the rpk, or the ak with the reload bug.
Another good choice is the thompson but it goes through ammo fast!

You definitely need reduced knockback, and mutation mags.
(Extra ammo clip and mutation armor is option for really helps!)

Do not try to run with a MG - ak is doable but also hard!!
Instead bust out a pistol and run - learn to run backwards but dont forget to check the way you running to.

If you dont got a deagle c or deagle g try to get m9 or other pistol for when you running away.

When it gets sticky, bust out the flash nade and throw it straight down and run!!!!

It's nice to survive but dont forget to do as much damage as possible.

Learn how to maximize dmg when you are hero - use nades and ammo efficiently.

Also dont go for crates unless you really out of ammo
(if you got good gun and mags you shouldn't need it)

  • 1. Aim
    2. Aim
    3. Aim
    4. ???
    5. Kill
    6. Profit.
  • Aim for the head and camp at best places, if possible.
  • It depends on what guns you decided to bring. If you brought a machine gun, pull out your pistol and knock them back. When you get to a place where you can easily camp (and has an escape route) take out your mg and blow their brains out (literally, head shots are efficient). If just one mutant is following you then you can turn a corner take out your mg and trap the mutant in the corner, control spray for head shots and you could easily deal 5k damage. If you brought an assault rifle, (I wouldn't reccommend them to a new player, but the m4a1, and scar light have easy sprays to control wich means lots of hs, I get an average of 1,3k damage per clip with my m4a1 silver all spraying, and 900 with scar light. However scar light is lighter, and the reload is quicker, which helps very much.) the strategy is simple, control spray run backwards and check where u are running while you reload. Don't do the same circuit over and over change it up to keep confusion up. I reccommend u buy rifle mag, and mutation magazines. If you brought an smg, you shouldn't have. Because unless you have smg, double mutation magazines you run out of ammo too quick. Then you get left with your knife. For the pistols I would chose desert eagle or anaconda, due to the damage. The higher damage the more kick back. For example some people say the glock-18 is good however against a dashing dread with reduce stun and knock back, the power is not enough to kick back, and the dread still comes forward. I only use my pistol if I have an mg, or ran out of assault rifle ammo. If you get good with these strategies then you will get some crazy scores. Yesterday I got 139 kills 2 deaths with scar light (17 rounds), today with m4 silver 110 kills 1 death in 9 rounds.
  • Get knife and run around in circles while b hopping
    easy..
  • - Prioritize hitting the Beserker and Titan mutants instead of the slugs, they're faster and have access to speed boosting abilities. You can almost outrun slugs with a knife.
    - Use a gun that's light and reloads quickly: If you're carrying a MG use your pistol.
    - Reload when they're really far away or behind a corner
    - Don't spray, aim for the head.
    - If you can, take a while to look ahead of you, scout for crates or mutants coming from a different path.
    - Try and stay away from steps: counter intuitive because it CAN get you to heard to reach places but it's also very slow to jump up and if you're not careful you can get stuck. Mutants also have long reach and can get you even if you're up a few boxes higher than they are.
  • Try to lose the mutants behind corners. Also, you need a light weapon, such as the MP5 or any pistol you can get your hands on to knock the mutants back. Run in irregular patterns, as this will throw off their aim. Knowing the shortcuts of each individual map helps, too.
