Barret M82
Highly powered, modern day tactic rifle. The scope wouldn't be any normal scope. It would zoom in just like the AWM, however, instead of a cross-scope, it would be a laser-doted scope. (which would look something like this)
This sniper rifle is deadly up to 7500 feet, or about 2500 yards. That is how accurate and powerful it is. It is known to have the 2nd longest recorded sniper shot kill in history. I think this would be a great new weapon to add to crossfire, and is the best out of my recent suggestions

No. There are alot of people who want the Barrett in CF, but it is just too OP to implement without ****ing everyone off. Besides, it's an Anti-Material rifle, and has little usefulness as un urban sniper at "close" range. Considering that CF's maps are by all means point blank for most snipers, it's just overkill.

That's your opinion. However, this would by far be the best possible sniper update to come to crossfire. Actually, it's not my opinion, as pointed out by the link in The_Mexican's post. It's Z8games' official opinion. Besides, the Barrett is just a fad gun, like the Desert Eagle. The only difference is the the Desert Eagle did make it into CF. -

Its gonna get implemented sooner or later.
People love OP guns, as much as you hate it.
I mean come on. People were screaming about how they would quit if theyre was ever a scarl light red dragon or a m12 gold, and looky now! People still play.
Its not like if the Barret is implemented, everyone is just going to walk away from this game. Thats just ridiculous. -

I'm not scared of it, I'm saying it's completely overpowered and game breaking. One hit kill to the foot AND through a box, and the quick switch is faster than the AWM. -

Yes, it's 1 hit kill everywhere but what's the big deal?
In a AWM vs Barrett situation, the AWM can't just aim to the body and take the Barrett guy out?
Just because he's holding a Barrett doesn't mean that you can't just aim to his body or head and kill him with 1 shot?
Btw, the game is already full with OP guns, 1 more won't make any difference... -

I know, but have you tried the one in AvA? When the AI leader dies, it actually puts a bloody way-point on the thing, and it basically becomes the new objective. Get the Barret. 1 hit kill anywhere, infinite ammo, 20 shot clip, dual zoom :S That is most likely what the HM Barrett will be like, but I can't see an actual item shop/crate one being balanced.
I suggest the Barrett M95, as it is bolt-action, 5 shot clip, and could basically be a re-skin of the AWM for Barrett fans :P -

Everyone hates on that gun... I can't see the difference between it and my AK-Knife. The shotgun is weak as hell on it anyways. -

I could easily own a barret user, but that's not the point. I could get shot, through a box, get hit in the pinky, and still magically die. -
