64 Bits client of Crossfire

Hello guys. I used to play on a 32 bit system. But today i bought a new computer; a 64 bit. Ive tryed to install crossfire, and it just didnt work. I really tried everything, So my question is, Can anyone help me, about how to install crossfire which is 32 bit, on my computer which is 64 bit. I really hope you guys coulc help me out, cuz im desperate to play crossfire on my new computer.

Has to be installed to the Program Files (x86) folder, rather than Program Files.

Yea I did that the first time, and it didnt work. Any suggestions about what download I should choose?

I'm on 64 bit windows 7, i used the one from the downloader and it works fine. What windows are you on?

the Fast downloader or one from the mirrors or one from the alternatives. ? I clikc one of that, Do I have to execute it or save it and if so where. And then when the downloading is done, Where do i hve to save The folder In?

The fast downloader, if you use a mirror i suggest saving the file rather than just straight up running it (allows you to reinstall whenever). It doesn't matter where you save the installer.

Save it, run the file after.

oke saved it at downloads and then i run and the downloader opened. Now it asks me where i wanna save the download files

Anywhere, personally i save it to the desktop, easier to find.

Oke. Now it's downloading Crossfire. When it is done, it will start installing. Is there any particular Map to save it at. Cuz of my problem witht he 64 bit.?

The default should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire

Should do, there's nothing to stop it from doing so.

The "Program Files" folder on 64bit windows runs only the 64bit programs, 32bit programs (for example, CrossFire) won't run if placed in it.

And crossfire aint working again. I did everything exactly as you said. Any idea what causes it. My error is . A little black screen. With a pooop up on it saying ERROR SEND REPORT? HELP MEEEEEE
