Anticipating my congratulations to canadians and americans!
In the best spirit of human brotherhood, here I come pay my respects to these two important days for you guys: July 1 (Canada) and July 4 (U.S.).
I'm getting ahead because I will be absent from this forum, in these commemorative days.
Thus, despite our differences of opinions that occur here. Despite the successes and failures of each side in the debates about the proper conduct of the game.
Let's forget for a moment they. And start celebrating early such important dates.
Congratulations for your history. Sincere congratulations.
The respect for our differences keep our relationship strong.

If I remember right, im not sure of the day, congratulations whenever Pedro said Fico (First independence) and then the one in the early/mid 1900s. If I got it wrong sorry I took History of Latin America last year. Not really sure what day it is but pre-congratulations.

Also, thank you. -

Thank you for the act.
The information you were searching: Pedro I on September 7, 1822 with the "cry of Ipiranga": "Independence or Death" declared the Independence of Brazil. The "Day of the Fico" was earlier and marked the beginning of our independence movement.
Thank you! -

It means alot to hear that, as it shows that unity is not based on region. Brazilians get a bad rap in Crossfire, but I actually know several Brazilian people, and they are all really nice people. Try Call of Duty Multiplayer if you want to see why people hate Americans and Canadians :P
I'm Canadian, so I'll be doing the July 1st one. -

You must be the anti-american
I'm very pro-america/patriotic. I just don't think the politicians are. The politicians/Economic Elite dictate what happens in war. However, I don't think im allowed to talk about politics so if you want PM me.

You must be the anti-american
Different opinions are not really offensive. Do not take seriously an opinion that is contrary to yours.
To criticize a position, even against common sense, does not assume that someone is unpatriotic.
Yet my purpose here was to honor these two great countries. Do not start a debate out of that subject. -
Thanks for the sincere congrats and happy Day of the Fico.
July 4th is what I will be celebrating.
Good to actually read a nice thread with a congrats on it.
@[MOD]Talonblaze same here nothing going on my little town.
Just gonna watch my neighbors pop fireworks. I get about the same view and spend no money :P
@FIREAGLE first little bit of sig is uncalled for IMO, just saying. -

Come down to Vancouver, we always have something going on. Riots for a hockey game is a prime example.
Not sure what's happening this Canada day though. I'll look into it, haha, it's still a couple of days away. -

"The best prophet of the future is the past."
Lord Byron
"Those who can not remember the mistakes of the past are condemned to repeat them."
Of course, I imagine that for one side of the dispute, the celebration of another can be cumbersome. But let us be greater than it and celebrate! -

I hope that this spirit of friendship spreads in this forum. I see many positive signs in this thread. I hope it stays that way. -

Lol, lots of stuff going on here in the capital on July 1, but I almost wish I wasn't here because I hate living in Ottawa. -
Good act right there ... Appreciating this ... Sad that I don't really have a country to call homeland.Confederado wrote: »In the best spirit of human brotherhood, here I come pay my respects to these two important days for you guys: July 1 (Canada) and July 4 (U.S.).
