LOL, its the same with canadians, people ask me if i live in an igloo and ride polar bears. to bad i live in southern ontario which is MORE southern than citys like chicago. crazy goofs ;p. or they wonder if every family has hockey rinks in their backyard (most of em do) LOOL. but its no hard feelings i dont take it personal at all noone should really. #CanadaKnowsHockey #RepectsToUSA

Usually when I tell people I'm American, I agree with any stereotype they throw at me. I can honestly say with every fiber of my being, I despise this country.

I've had friends from the UK, Canada, and a few other countrys, but when it comes to online people just "assume" or it's because of the lack of what would happen if they made you made. let's face it, if your talking to some 350 pound guy who looks like he is on roids, then it's not likey you are going to make fun of how he talks because he is from a different area.

when you talk with people from a different area on a almost daily basis, you can start to pick up the accent 0_o

The only thing that I don't understand is if im playing a game and have a US flag namecard and speak english, why am I asked if im a BR? 0_o

but I think everything comes down to sterotypes because unless people have met a lot of people from a country or went there, they don't know what it is truey like and fall back on sterotypes.

Giggletron, im confused on why a girl would have you say "butter" for a while 0_o

but then again im a person who doesn't give a flock, as long as the point has gotten across. =P

at least your not assumed to be a BR on a daily basis when you are really from the United States 0_o.....
