DSR-1 accuracy

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the DSR's in-scope accuracy has gone down while moving?????

  • It's like that with every sniper. You can't expect to be able to shoot 100% accurately while moving. In real life, if you can run while sniping, you're either a prodigy at sniping, or you have some real skills.

I had a DSR a long time ago, and I didn't like it. But, I can tell you that if guns were nerfed, the community would have known about it ages ago when the patch came out that was supposed to nerf it. It could be a problem of you not aiming the same way. Consistency isn't the best in the game, you do realize.

I use to shoot and move all the time before the patch and now after i find myself missing alot of easy shots, it never was like that before with me. Im not sounding co.cky or anything, but im a pretty damn good sniper.

Yes, I know, and I could be wrong, but we are generally made aware if a gun was made less accurate or nerfed in any way. Possibly you're shooting before your character stops dead, while before you were waiting until your character stopped dead in his tracks. I'm not accusing your ability to aim, I'm just mentioning that timing could be different.

There's also a moving penalty on snipers that's really evident on the Dragunuv. If you move before shooting a Dragunuv, it isn't as accurate as standing still. They could have implemented that on the DSR without telling us.

Its probably just the lag bugs from the patch, cuz people have been telling me i lag and teleport alot when i never use to before so that could be it. I also find people tanking alot so im just betting on the lag.
  • It could be lag... It could also be that fps might have lowered after the patch? Or maybe with the ping bugs that you're getting more lag than before like JBird said..

I use the DSR and it's still as accurate as always I just don't tend to move when I pull the trigger...

yea im just gonna go with lag

Lol, blame it all on the lag.

OT: My ping tends to go up after every patch, but I can't tell what it did this patch...

  • I was wondering about the dsr. Used mine for awhile the other day and was having difficulty with qsing. I just thought it was the lag?
  • I haven't really noticed any changes with the DSR-1. I've used it pretty much for the half of my account life.
  • Used the DSR today in a Ship match. 95% of my shots hit and killed so I say it's still as accurate as before...

Just go with lag or fps.
  • Don't like DSR-1

This thread isn't about you or anyone else's perspective on the DSR-1, so shut up.

i swear hi should be mod.
  • I have similar problems, I can't hit a damn thing. Normally it goes like this: aim at head -> single shot-> enemy down -> someone kick me out of game -> I join new game and everything repeats. But now I can't hit them, or I hit them (I see blood and they makes this weird move) and they get no dmg. My ping is like 39-49.

I think its not the accuracy, there is something else wrong. I don't think they turned down the accuracy on every weapon. I think they changed something else about the lag. I remember that when someone started to lag he would just freeze and you could shoot him but now they don't die when I shot the waiting one. Idk what it is but I don't like it lol.
