I wasn't sure about that, but left it in. lol Maybe you do, maybe you don't. I bought a lot of ZP crates a little bit back, and think I got a helmet. But it might have been from something else. I know I never bought armor of any kind.Kawaii_Neko wrote: »armor from crates? since when :P -

Other than mutation armor, all armor is pretty much useless. Most of the times you will get killed without so much as a scratch to your armor. So what exactly is it suppose to do, if not reducing damage?

It reduces the damage you take from grenades and knifing quite considerably.

A smart sniper wouldn't need it if they knew what to do in a situation with a knifer or a grenade being lobbed. -
Armor is too expensive for what it does.
At best you make the other players spent 1 more bullet to kill you.
It only reduces damage by about 3-5 per bullet, against melee weapons only the knife is affected seriously. All the other melee weapons can still 1 hit kill.
Does work wonders for Grenades by reducing their damage by about half.
It turns most rifles and MGs from a 3-4 to a 4-5 hit kill.
SMGs from a 4-5 to a 5-7 hit kill.
snipers are already a 1 hit kill or a 2 hit kill, no noticeable change except for the Drag.
Pistols like the Deagle and Anaconda are still 2-3 hits, well pistols like the Socom and Colt go from 4-5 to a 5-6. All other pistols are effected more so.
Shotguns are the most effected, but very few people use them. Each pellet takes the damage hit, effectively reducing damage by about 25-30.
In short its most effective against weapons that do less then 28 damage a bullet, but the only really common weapons that are at that range are M12 and Thompson. (they still shoot fast enough and have a tight enough spray to still kill you, only takes 2-3 more bullets.) -

Nope
A smart sniper would get the hell out of their position that they're camping, switch to thier pistol, and kill the person who lobbed the grenade at them.
