crossfire isnt working

Hi this is my first time postin on the forums and i havent had very many problems with crossfire until my dad rebooted his computer. After he rebooted i reinstalled crossfire and hen i opened it and pressed start the crossfire screen opened then immediatly went black. I was told to download gamebooster which i did but no luck =(. So if anyone can help that would be awesome.
