MEPS experience
Just curious, anyone else had an experience with MEPS tests?
I did mine today, and surprisingly I passed. I'm now signed up to be an infantry soldier in the United States Army after I graduate.
I'm just wondering as to what other people's experiences with the MEPS tests because mine, was pretty good but rather boring at parts because of the waiting.

To serve the country.
And not to get political, but quitting the armed forces because of the president is preposterous and hypocritical. Righties want a stronger army, yet you quit if you have a dem. president? Contradiction.
No not political, more of a religious reason. -

So you feel sorry for me for joining the Army so I can serve my country? Let me ask you this, what are you going to do with YOUR life? I know what I'm going to do. I'm going to be helping to make the United States a safer place for future generations by serving my country in every way that I can. -

Exact opposite. And to be in the Army you don't have to go to Afghanistan.
With your lack of critical thinking, and just world knowledge, you'd be lucky to become a doctor let alone a vet. -

Going to Afghanistan is helping the US actually. It's helping to eliminate the threat of further attacks on American soil by the Taliban..
As has already been said, becoming a Vet or anything else of importance without a decent knowledge of world happenings, won't happen. Try a little harder to understand the reasons behind decisions, then you can try to argue with me about something the US does to protect all Americans being useless.
That and enlisting as an infantryman doesn't mean I'm going to Afghanistan. I don't get shipped off to training until July 10th of 2012 so there'll only be two years left before military occupancy of Iraq and Afghanistan are ended, and all US troops are withdrawn from the area. Odds are, I won't be going there.
