Failed to download verison.ini

when ever i start the Patcher get this

someone please help me, i really wanna play and i always get these errors when live patch events are happening... i have re-downloaded and installed 5+times, i waited over night, still didn't work, nothing seems to be working and im stumped, a little help would be appreciated.

aint we on patcher v5 now?

uninstall

delete CF folder

download from http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloads2.aspx

reinstall

Try deleting version.ini from your Crossfire folder then run CF.
(Keep a back-up in case something goes wrong).

tried this didnt work,

idk what else to do.

Bump, i think this has something to do with my internet, because whenever i try to open the launcher, all the webpage thingys say "navigation to webpage cancelled" and it does this with anyother game i try to play

but i was playing just fine on thursday? this sucks.
