The new Ribbon (Mods Read Please)
I wondering why do you have to do all the challenges to get the new ribbon. I mean like most peoples are really busy with real life stuff e.g. work, school etc...
Why don't you make it so that you only have to do 3/4 missions or 2/4 to get the ribbon.
P.S. I got got 3 wins on 23/06/2011 because I only had 1 hour to play it.

If you don't have the time to put in to the challenge, you don't deserve the ribbon.
They're symbols of achievements, not free gifts.
I didn't even know there was going to be some challenges to get a ribbon. YOU GUYS told us after the PATCH. So how is it my fault. The Mods should have told us about it before the patch so we could of at least get ready for it. This same thing happened with hero mode. -
Most of the ribbons are WAY too easy to earn. So creating hard ones evens it out. Plus these missions aren't even hard. 5 win? 100 kills? All easy.
Don't you read the first thread. SOME players do not have the time to play on CF because they might have work in real life. And ya these missions are easy but I only played like 1 hour on the 23/06/2011.
Plus, the Mods don't tell you until the patch is out. If they did tell you before the patch, then you could easily get ready for it. -

Amen at the last sentence. And Mods it's not getting a free ribbon hes just speaking for the people that have no time and himself too. He did not ask for the ribbon for free learn how to read. Sorry if im talking like a ****** bag but heyy what can i say i talk to ****** bags like this. He said like 3/4 Missions in which I think it is fair. I know alot of kids say this but what if your mother got into a car crash a CF Event day and you werent able to participate 100% you would say "It's your fault." right? Very irratated on how you speak to people. Care about the people not reject them. Try to think it over on your perspective. Especially when theres alot of hackers and bugs in CrossFire.
EDIT : If you think wasting our time is considered to be "FREE" then you must have all the time in the world. Were actually playing CF and wasting our time. Dictionary.com i dont think you understand this word "FREE".

Most of these challenges can probably be achieved in under 1 hour of play. Maybe a little more.
If we wanted to just give away ribbons we would (see Christmas). You have to work for these ribbons because they are exclusive and special. When you get it, you can say to other people. "Check it out, I was there on this event and I'm cool because I got the ribbon."
Not "I need this ribbon because I'm 4 ribbons shy of getting an m4cc". -

The other new Navy Seal ribbon - Seal Character, and MORE ZP for that new gun and MK-Socom... Geezuz... so much skill eh?

Never said that ribbons were skill based. They are achievements, participation marks, added displays to make your profile cooler.
We've already made plenty of posts in the ribbons suggestion page that we intend on releasing more ribbons. But that ribbons can only be set to what the game tracks. The game can't track that you carried a team SnD map with 5 kills in a row.
When that happens in game, there is no database entry that saves that. So we can't track it and use it for that ind of stuff.
As I said, we never said that ribbons were "skill based". Think of ribbons like hats from other well-known fps games.
Additionally, since eliminating the hacking 100% is a very daunting and difficult proposal, ribbons and achievements and being able to participate in events likely won't stop just because there is a hacker in the game. It sucks, and we know it. And that's why we work against hacking all the time. But it's not going to stop these kinds of things from coming out. -
You get prizes when you get a ribbon. Prizes helps game weather it be with GP, money etc. Makes you feel good. Stop trolling get the **** out.
you're only one trolling. one shouldn't stress about a ribbon from a game if he's trying to play the game to relax. Or are you too dumb to see? -

Oh yea sure im the one trolling? You just said Ribbon doesn't equal game. Ribbons are part of this game to make the game better etc. Eventually for all people who enjoy this game will eventually want more stuff etc. Ribbons help you achieve some of your needs. Stop asking stupid questions cuz your the dumb one here.
