Sony vegas error?

Everytime i try to put some footage on it it fails, no matter if i do with OPEN , or with Import Media, if i click on the footage i want to load on sony vegas and press OK, sony vegas crashes, and it says Not Responding..

any ideas why?

I have win 7 and even if i try to run it as administrator this shiit happens o_o. Can't do anything basically...

I have sony vegas pro 10.0 trial o somthign like that
