cant change keyboard language

Till today it was always possible to change my keyboard ingame to english so i could jump, crouch, walk slow, use the map and see the overview with kills, deaths and ping. To do this you had do go to 'options' press [alt]+[shift] and than save. But since a few hours it doesnt work. Even when I change keyboard language before running crossfire its changed back to german while starting, so what can i do?
