SO as you see you get more cons than pros and the ok's are nutral. The m12s has low power and ok accuracy and isent even a 1 hit headshot! I dont see why you noobs out there say its cheap, if it is so cheap why dont you go to the store and buy it! In my opinion it is not as cheap as the ak-47 which still takes skill but is good for single shoting. Besides the m12s takes skill to use also, you need to get accostomed to rushing with it as well as the low power that comes with it. Besides to you m4a1 custom users this gun is nothing, i rather have an m4a1 silver than this gun but i cant get it so this is a substitute. If you use a kriss super v or another good gun this gun cannot even compare!
So what I am trying to say is, stop trying to critisize the m12s and calling it a noob gun. If you think it is overpowered why dont you buy it from the store! It takes almost no rank and its jsut 42000 gp!

If you're complaining about 2 hit headshot well.....even the KRISS which is a goddam ZP CRATE SMG is a 2 hit headshot.
So stop crying. If you think the m12s is pro, well, you're entitled to your own opinion, but my opinion is that you're a blabbering idiot.
Nobody cries about the AK 47 because it has hardcore recoil, and is therefore NOT a noob cannon like the m12 (which has NO RECOIL) -
I would not say it's average, but to have the user put up to a vote-kick? that doesn't sound right. 1. It's a ZP crate gun. It's hard to get, and when you get it, it's damn hard earned.
Complaining about it is like saying "That guy won the lottery. But he doesn't deserve the money."
the M12 is GP. Anyone can get it.
2. The Kriss actually has a little bit of recoil
The M12 has none.
3. The Kriss is always a 5+ hit kill in the body (22 damage)
the M12 is sometimes a 4 hit kill.
4. The Kriss doesn't carry damage over range (it gets weak over range)
The M12 does...
5. The Kriss shoots slower than the M12
6. The M12's reload is quicked than the kriss. And remember, it's a GP gun not even a GP crate....while the Kriss is a ZP crate... -

You probably don't own a Kriss to say such stupidities. I don't get OWNED by M12s users, but it makes really poor players think they're actually good at this game. I do own a M12s that I very rarely use, but every time I use it, since my aim is decent I get a VERY prolific run at killing people. Feels pretty wrong to me.
Especially since the real life M12s is an aging, poorly designed SMGs for today's standard. I don't know what went through SmileGate's mind to give it such amazing physics and ballistics, it's even better than the TDI Vector (Kriss) which have won many awards as being the current contemporary beast-of-a SMG. -

I do own it and the SCAR Light for collection purposes, but I'm usually too ashamed to equip them in my bags. I'd rather use my Kriss, since as of now it is not that much better than a MP5 or even a closer ranged MP7. -

The only skill you have to use when you are playing with m12 is to hold your mouse's left click button which means spraying . Because of it's insane fire rate it stunts your enemy, you can't even move when some1 is spraying you with an m12. So stop opening more topics and get a pro gun.

M12s is good because all the other smg's are simply underpowered.
I don't think anyone on these forums has EVER Designed a FPS before, so no one is qualfied to talk about gun balance unless you balance DPS carefully. A SMG SHOULD have equal DPS to a rifle at close range, otherwise the gun is just useless. That's called basic play balance. Play balance isn't the same as some stupid real life ballistics crap, where 1 bullet from a gun is going to DROP you if you're unarmored. M12s is good because it's the ONLY smg with proper DPS at close range. It shouldn't take 10 bullets from a mp7 to drop someone at 3 meters--that's just broken.
The only real nerf the m12s needs is damage dropoff at range. No SMG should be effective at higher than 10 meters in a FPS. Real life is a different story, but heck, people don't use toilets in FPS's do they So you have to have some concessions.
Play AVA and use the Versek or the MP7. They can drop a person as fast as a M12s. And you don't see people QQ'ing about that, now do you? (Only problem is the OP rifles in that game that break the spirit (and point) of having EH08 helmets). Instead of nerfing the M12s, buff the other SMG's But seriously, people, you can NOT have every SMG do the exact same damage or have the same stats, otherwise it becomes "1) AK, 2) M4, 3) AWM 4) (Any smg you want). The very NATURE of a SMG means you can't really have the same type of variety as you can with a rifle, unless you start talking about carbines like the AK74U...
Oh well, probably few adults on this forum, anyway, so I'm talking to the wind. Flame away, I don't even play CF much anymore--too busy playing Hangman with my gf

Nothing that's bolded and underlined in the quote reflects the gun's stats at all. You've left out the recoil and spray pattern. You've left out the fact that you can shoot across the map with the damage staying the same. You've left out it's light weight. You are left with:
Pros:

The the firing rate compensates for the 2 shots to the head. After that, you're left with only the clip size as a con.
Again, I don't care about what gun you plan on using in the future, but most of us have come to the consensus that the M12s is overpowered. I won't comment any further. This thread has already turned into a battlefield, and I don't want to be part of this flame-war. -

Um duh? With an SMG you get a fast fireing Rate. Everything is give or take. Either fast fireing rate but low power or slow fireing rate for high power. The m12 breaks that by having simply no real cons. The 2 headshot kill isn't even a con since I garauntee you shoot more than 1 bullet at a time with the gun and that it doesn't really matter because you're spamming the person with bullets to the point that he can't even shoot back.
