Just recently reformatted my computer, and trying to redownload DirectX 9.0c to run CF. But the thing is it's been so long since I have downloaded DirectX 9.0c and I don't know what to "download". So can someone help me find the REAL download for DirectX 9.0c because apparently I'm over here getting confused at DirectX Redist, DirectX FULL DOWNLOAD, DirectX End-User Runtime, etc.

Why do people on the web have to be so difficult?

Learn to read next time

Install the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer. It installs DirectX 9.0C and provides updates for it. (Which helps if you have a Win7)

Yes I searched on Google for DirectX 9.0c and all it would come up with all these Redists, Runtimes, etc. Like the first post I made People on the web have to be so difficult. Oh and what's more confusing is that some of the SAME DirectX 9.0c downloads had different download megabytes.

Redist means redistributable, something you can share and install. All in one.
Runtime is what makes it tick.

You can pretty much install any of them, if its from a safe source.
Or just install any recent game. They always throw in a directx redist.

I suppose. Never tried it.
If you have a virus scan then I'd use that first.
