IP Changers Allowed?

In the event of a certain country being IP blocked (you know what) would players using IP changers such as HotSpotShield be banworthy?

Comments

  • IP Changer's is a third party program therefore you can get banned, but the question is... Will Crossfire do anything?
  • there are no plans on banning any region
ban evasion can get you banned though, but not ip changing specifically.
since it doesn't interfere with the client, we can't possibly detect it.

Yes, I was saying IN THE EVENT that it would happen, whether any action would be taken. So this is something that requires reporting for any action?

On a side note, are using macro mice to create perfect taps or bursts bannable also, even though they aren't really detectable?

xtrap occasionally detects on macro software.

not sure why you'd be so bad that you need macros to oneshot (tap) or even burst, and chances are it wont fly in a league.
  • Yeah cause when I'm bored of CF, I hop over to AVA. Gameguard doesn't detect most macro software, but is still bannable. There, recoil is HUGE compared to CF, and cause noops can't aim, they take the most powerful gun in the game, give it some macros and just hold it down like an M12s with no recoil. Anyway, thanks for the answer, dot
