does crossy have a virus????

i am in pei so when i tried to download crossfire east coast mirrror 1. mid way download for the downloader i get a popup saying avg detected a virus in the downloader and that it deleted it..i am just at my grandparents at home i've had the game for years and i know for a fact there's no virus....wtf can i do to ignore this???do i just turn off avg or does crossy actually have a virus...or is it just ine of those things like theres an injector in it or something and its a virus that doesnt harm your comp...no z8 gamesa admins post plox because if there is a virus they'd just lie and say theres not
