I cannot start crossfire!

Well, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I allready made a reinstallation and it still doesn't work.

what can i do ?

I've read that i have to turn off the firewall. but ich can't.

Go to your antivirus and turn off network shields temporarily ,then turn off your firewall or make exceptions for crossfire.exe and crossfire_startup.exe. Which should be in the toot directory C:\preogramfiles\z8games\crossfire\crossfire.exe & C:\programfiles\z8games\crossfire\crossfire_launcher.exe (or startup.exe because the name changed with the recent patch). If that fails go to root directory and look at your operational integrated quick roots. If you find a file named 0 or a square(unknown symbol) delete it. This should make you r game work 100%.
