Automation Error, Anyone seen this and know what to do?

Whenever I try to open the loader to start crossfire I get an Automation Error, Here's a picture below. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

Nah it's an old dell but with upgraded video cards and RAM chips, I have my graphic settings to run optimal performance so I can have no lagg.

Ive tried reinstalling many times in a span of over 2 months, it doesn't work. I've removed all the old files and reinstalled didn't work :l

Lazy, try running it from patcher_CF.exe you can find that in the CF directory, tell me if it works ;o if it doesn't work, then im not sure. sorry. tell me if it works ;o

Where would I find the CF directory?

its where you installed it to E.G:
C:\program files\z8games\crossfire\ and that patcher might be in there, unless you have changed it around and installed it to another place

I cant find the patcher. I'm going to do a complete unistall again and reinstall it and try to find it then.

I actually managed to find it just had to dig through some files haha. I ran the patcher and it's patching as I type; this error has been happening for a couple months now but not even the patcher would open so this is a good sign. Thanks for the help

theres a technical issue with the game in your system .... just unistall and download the game again and it will work

You could not be more wrong about the installing and re-installing. I tried that multiple times over a 2-3 month span and several complete uninstalls. Helio gave me a solution and my CF now works. Thanks anyways.
