you have really more fun with just reading the book

but i know its hard when you play cf and you have a good laptop you will probably never read again (like me
).
I've read all of the books.those movies are horrible. The final movie in an adaptation of a terrible book series?
Totally psyched.
Reason why you don't like it? Just curious if you are just saying bs to get your precious little post count up. -

1. Post count doesn't go up here.
2. The ending is TERRIBLE! J.K Rowling doesn't know how to write fantasy for one thing.
- J.K. Rowling's explaination for things like Harry's wand acting on its own during the harry clone escape at the beginning of the book is "We don't know the extent of magic." This pretty much means that she can pull any **** out of her ass and say "Oh snap, look what magic can do now!" That's not a believable fantasy world. ANY actual fantasy writer knows that in order to create a believable environment, you set boundries.
- WHAT THE HELL WAS THE POINT IN THE NEVILLE PROPHECY? The entire 5th book was completely wasted. Nothing ever actually comes of that.
- She chickened out in the ending; Harry should have died and Neville should have peaced Voldemort. It would have been a much better ending if she had actually worked that prophecy 5th book **** into the story, but she chickened out and didn't kill Harry.
- NOBODY WE CARE ABOUT DIES. Dumbledore wasn't a relatable character AT ALL. When I read the part when he dies, I was like "so what?" You never actually got to like Dumbledore, you were just told to. The only person in the series who died WHO WE ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT was Sirius Black, and even then we didn't even truely get to know the character. So how is it that none of the truly main characters die, and yet they poop on Lord Volde?
And the worst bit; Harry Potter shows no character developement throughout the entire series of books. He's still the same, stupid kid who lucks into everything good that happens to him. He doesn't deserve to kill Voldemort. Harry Potter is **** for the same reason that A Series of Unfortunate Events is ****; NOTHING EVER CHANGES.
This series is complete ****; for a good series, check out the Bartimaeus Trilogy. -
According to imdb.com, Part 2 will be released in Portugal on 14th of July. There are different dates for most of countries. For example, the movie will be released on 21st of July in Romania.Katty_Perry wrote: »
14th? Wasn't it 16th? o:
Gotta change my schedule then?

I'm not sure if the info from this site is correct tho. -
Excited for it. Will see it, most definitely.
And actually. IT IS a good series. Both the book and film versions of it, though the films should have TOTALLY put more into it and stuck more to the book plot.
You can't compare this stuff to Twilight. It's not even on the same scale. -

1) Just noticed.
2) You obviously didn't read all the books to say that. And she can add all the stuff she wants as long as it's her book.
The prophecy... You are right.
Neville should've killed Voldermort? Then the actual prophecy wouldn't matter.
The prophecy clearly stated that only Voldermort and Harry can kill each other.
And Dumbledore died because *SPOILER* he put up Snape to it, if you would read the book you surely know that. And i cared about almost 60% of the people that died. And correct me if i am wrong but didn't one of the Red-Haired m0f0's die?
And i how wouldn't he only look at everything good? His parents died, then S. Black etc. He found out that his father's closest friend betrayed them, that the only man that Dumbledore trusted killed him (which shows false at the end), his friends are dying for him to kill Voldermort and then he lived 11 years at his aunts and uncle house which they treated him badly and more. Wouldn't you look only at the good things after all that happened to you? -

Read my post again, holy poop.
1) IF SHE HAD ACTUALLY DONE SOMETHING WITH THE PROPHECY Neville could have killed Volde. BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T he couldn't. That's my point.
2) I KNOW WHY DUMBLE DIED. It's irrelevant If you had actually read my post you would have seen that he wasn't a character worth caring about.
3) Okay you REALLY need to re-read my post. I didn't say Harry was an optimist, even though a **** ton of bad stuff WOULD MAKE YOU A PESSIMIST, but that he was an immature idiot who didn't show any growth throughout THE ENTIRE SEVEN BOOKS. He doesn't do ANYTHIJNG to deserve ANYTHING good that happens to him; he just gets stupid lucky.
4) If you actually cared about the people that died then you obviously lack any real reading experience. Anyone who actually reads good books would see how incredibly little J.K. Rowling puts into her character's developements. The only character who it sucks that he died was Sirius Black.
Name me every other person who died, and I will tell you WHY nobody in their right mind cares. Mostly it's because they never grow or seem believable. -

1) I know but i'm saying if she had done something with it Harry's prophecy would go boom.
2) Yes but i cared about him and so did the other 80% that did watch the movie or read the book.
3) That's kinda true.
4) I didn't read the book before i watched Order of the Phoenix and the Half Blood Prince, so reading doesn't matter i still cared that they died from the previous books/movies. And how do you even get to care for S.Black? He was only on the 3rd book and he was acting like a complete maniac. Then at the 5th book he was more human-like.TASTELIMESS wrote: »I am pretty sure half of you (including denxi) won't be seeing it as it is rated PG 13.
True that.
