Tips and Weapons for newbie

Hi fellow CF friends!

I am wondering on some tips for a beginner that you guys shall wish to tell me. Like mistakes to not do and mistakes to do. I have been Combat Arms which I am a 1 LT 1 in and some CoD so I know how these games work, but each game is different so I came to the forums to ask. Any gun recommendations for a Private first class? Like gun tips or to save up and others.

after leveling and getting the first bonus either buy the m4, because its a good started gun or just break you m16 by using it. and not repairing till you are

and when you get the 30k gp bonus you should have quite a lot. now either get a rifle or a sniper if you haven't already gotten one, recommended awm for sniper and go to Alaska to try out the other guns. With the money left over you can either buy a great pistol or buy another rifle or sniper because u have at least 2 bags

btw, u dont get gp bonuses at every rank like Combat Arms, but guns are permenant or mostly i should say.

Yeah, one thing I noticed. My eyes opened widely when there wasn't a sale for perm guns.

Already got it. I knew there was a free USP, but I couldn't find the fb page so I bought the m9. lol.

Experiment with different guns on Alaska before buying them. Who knows, you might like another gun like the K-2 over the M4

Alaska is a great oppurtunity to try out guns, it has a lot of the GP weapons.

By the way don't blow your money on the Black Market unless you're planning to spend 50+ dollars on this game...

what u can try to do is keep makin new acc til u get a perm weapon from GP crates o.0 pick up weapon from dead ppl n try them out.

try to get it again. Buying m9 is a bad mistake to make lol.
The usp is at least a 1 hit hs.

If you want to try out guns, there is a firing range where you can shoot targets for as long as you want, with unlimited ammo.

If you dont buy ZP never sell your weapons.

SCAR-Light + Desert Eagle

AWM + Desert Eagle

One of these two setups will (with a little practice) gaurentee victory. Just don´t blame me when you get kicked every second match that you play

M4 is isn't good when you go out of rookie sever. So just play with M16 and M700, you can get a free USP on: http://crossfire.z8games.com . Until you lvl up to Sergeant 1 you'll get enough GP to buy some guns. Don't waste all of them -,-" . Use them wisely because if u lvl to Staff Sergeant you'll get more GP -,-" . Dont buy Crates until you know what you do.

Sound is an excellent way to detect enemies.

Walking over the edge of objects makes no noise

Jumping while sneaking/crouching makes no noise despite you hear the jump

Always look to the obvious camping spots (e.g. Upstairs at B in EE)

Pick up every weapon thats better than yours, those who flame just cant stand that you killed them.

Camp! Flamers just got no clue (but dont camp too much)

The following weapons have 100% penetration of crates:
MP5
Type...forgot the number
XM8 + XM8 Adv
P90 (not sure)
G36K
...

FFA is the most Hacker-contamined mode, but you cant be kicked

MM sucks

ESC and MM and maybe HM KDs dont count to your KD

Clan Rank is nonsense

Rank is above SFC 1 nonsense, just prestige

Do the daily missions

The higher your rank is the more you will have to do for your missions

I recommend the following weapons:

M4 (all types)

AK47 (all types)

AUG

XM8

K2

Type...

G36K

Desert Eagle

AWM

Even though your KD gets boosted by it because it is a hell of a lot easier to get a good kd there

Also, pretty noob question, but how do I pick up the gun from the ground in game? And not in Alaska.

they do count for badge but if you meant "kills"/point from escaping, they just count for KD not badges.

u press G (default button) to drop your weapon then stand in the weapon in the ground =>> congraz, u picked up a gun
