can we add kill marks to replays
ok if you have ever watched a replay you may have noticed that there are no kill marks so to be sure someone died you have to avert u attention to the top corner of the screen. wouldnt it be easier if the replays saved kill marks as well?
also ability to remove navigation bar from the replay would be nice since iv noticed plenty of movie makers having to trim a good portion of their screen off to get rid of this bar which consiquently leads to stretching the screen to make up for the difference

you can just add the kill marks while you are doing the editing if you really wanted to. Also before they get rid of the navigation bar they need to actually make the ff and rw work... its been verrrry long i dont see how hard it could be to code a ff and rw lol -
part of the problem is replays are saved as a set of instructions for the game to recreate what happend instead of being and actual video it would have to tell it to skip around direction which anyone whos ever done any direction based work can tell you can sometimes be a very bad thing to do

it is not hard, is only unpleasant. you have to capture all the replay, at last from the start of it until the scene you need. but after that, in the nonlinear editing software you will get rid (easy) the unnecesarily "garbage".
after the capture in *.avi format is done, the movie obtained can be fast-forwarded or rewinded.
the drawback is:
- the captured movie necessitate a lot of space on the hard-disk, as opposite to the classic replay
- there is only one angle (point of view) present, the one who was captured. so, for adding another angle of the same subject, a new capture must be done, corresponding to that angle. -
Replays are mostly for hacker and glitcher catching purposes, since they have to be sent to support all the time the files need to be as small as possible to let even people with bad connections to upload them quickly. To make it easy to understand, every added detail will make the file bigger IE the time bar or kill badges etc. I might be wrong on this on this one but it seemed pretty obvious to me.
