The few, the proud
Ok, I am extremely happy with myself with CF now.
I have always thought of the dsr as being inferior to the awp but last Friday I decided I was going to learn how to use it. After seeing someone in West Coast completely dominating with it.
Took me up to Sunday and by then I learned how to manage the DSR. This thing is epic if you know how to use it and it's now my main sniper.
Only a few people use it as their main sniper which surprises me since this thing is a monster just waiting for people to learn how to use it.

I had a DSR-1 but decided to sell it since I had the rehular AWM and AWM-Camo. xD Never got use to that pre-aim gun. Plus its harder to quick scope and the sounds are all out of sync.
Once you get the hang of quickscoping with this thing you'll basically tear sh1t up. It took me a while but it's well worth it.
All credit goes to that Asian in west (since everyone there is Asian) for encouraging me to use this thing. -
You know what I was thinking like 2 days ago....a silver dsr, red, camo idc it prob look good.but if its silver it would kinda look like a bug like it does now.like if you don't look at it.and just think about it but not fully details it kinda looks like a beatle

After using the DSR for a while, you will feel very bored because you pretty much camp and pre-aim the whole time. Then I bought an AWM, I could quick scope with it and rush instead of staying back waiting for someone to snipe at. So, AWM> DSR. I have them both.

What?you can rush with dsr.and dsr can kinda QS if you know how to use it.and awm is over used to much -

QuickScoping with a DSR... Are you HIGH!?!?? QuickScoping is made for snipers which can double-scope, for 2 reasons.
1 : Switching to knife and back to DSR is the worst thing you can do in a Sniper Match, DSR has a really long draw time and during that time, you can get owned easily.
2 : DSR is made to pre-scope, since it can shoot multiple bullets in a short duration.
If you really want to know how to Quick Scope, use an Awm. -
IKR? I love the DSR.
Everyone raves about the FR-F2 but what they forget is that it's basically a DSR that shoots slower. +5 bullets on DSR whoopdee do what do you do spray with your sniper for God's sake?
Also I use my DSR no scope as a shotgun! So fun on egypt....you get called a ha.cker so much -
its kinds owies a sniper for noscoping yy
see this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wa7Xpi2nf4s
DSR cant do that
Thats not no-scoping... He aims in every time. Its just quick scoping at close range.
OT: I love the DSR (for more reasons than being the one whom suggested it), because as a DSR user, I don't need to impress anyone with fancy useless jumpshots, quick scopes and the like. Go hardcore sniper like its supposed to.
Also, FYI, the draw time for the awm versus the dsr is very little in difference. It just sounds and looks like it. -

Thats becoce i showd whi AWM IS more superior then DSR
P.S ofc my last noscope was like 3 weeks ago -
I lol at you people.
I have sniper 3 B badge and I know which is better.
Try going closecombat with dsr vs awm. Dsr sucks cuz it forces you to hardscope, but with awm you can QS.
AWM requires more skill because if you dont wanna die you have to kill him 1 shot.
On dsr you may miss 1 shot but the second has to hit.
Both have + and - but awm has more +. Sooner or later you see it and buy AWM back. -

I dont use it cuz i like quickswitching. -

And you again think you know more..... Thats your opinion not his kid. yeah dats right i called you a kid... you are disrespecting the person who made this thread and the people who use a DSR-1 -
Well, I'm pretty sure I can say that:
All in all, people with the skill and patience to challenge DSR-1 are truly rewarded with incredibly epic pwnage. On the other hand, people with AWM prefer the classic, easier QS and are too lazy to learn how to snipe with DSR-1 and thus make quick judgements of it. -

Did you ever think camping isnt our thing? Not to mention i could fap by the time i pull that dsr out. -

On CQC you can no-scope.
DSR is better in that.
And lawl.
You can quickswitch and have the next shot ready.
And DSR isn't that fast.
Learn the guns before you speak.
On topic:
I prefer the AWM. But DSR is a decent sniper imo. -
I've bought the DSR and used it, I feel that at times you're forced to camp or hardscope which I don't like.
Whenever I see someone using the gun it's generally used by a player at the other side of the map crouching and hardscoping constantly which gives it an annoying feel.
I'll stick with my AWM :P -

Most ppl don't buy a sniper to run around no-scoping CQC though...
I'd go with AWM as well, DSR just doesn't have the same feel to it. Also makes me less likely to go on the offensive. Still a good gun for Egypt for me, less on other maps, certainly in SnD.
