New GP-Crate & SMG
in Suggestions
Hey Guys,
I have spent sometime playing CF and I noticed that there are way too little new GP-crates being released so I thought of a new one including a new SMG, the SR-2M Veresk. This SMG is a bit like a Uzi, but I would recommend adding a optical scope to it and giving it the power of an mp5. The accuracy should be pretty good but the reload should be arround 3seconds so it surely isn't overpowered. In reallife this SMG's clip is usually 20-40 rounds. I would recommend 40 and a good firing rate so that it is better than the Uzi. The GP-crate which it is in should also include some character attachment that would fit to it, maybe a backpack or so. I hope you guys like my suggestion, but of course it's not me who decides and I would be happy to hear your guy's opinions and aprovements.

History & Information:
The SR-2 Veresk submachine gun has been in development since mid-1990s; It was developed by the Central Scientific-Research Institute of Precise Mechanical Engineering(TSNIITOCHMASH) under request of FSB (Federal Security Service of Russia). After the successful development of powerful 9x21 SP-10armor piercing ammunition and SR-1 pistol to fire it, FSB also requested a submachine gun to fire same ammunition. Thesubsequent SR-2 SMG (SR-2 stands for Spetsialnaya Razrabotka 2 - Special development#2), also codenamed as Veresk (heather) was first displayed in 1999, andsince early 2000's is in use by FSB and other elite law enforcement forces of Russia. By modern standards, SR-2 is quite powerful and provides users withgreat armor penetration at ranges up to 100-150 meters, as well with significant stopping power of 9mm ammunition. Yet, it is relatively compact and light, and even can be carried concealed in special shoulder harness.
Unlike most submachine guns, SR-2 is gas operated, and its action is based on a scaled-down version of the SR-3 Vikhr compact assault rifle. SR-2 uses long stroke gas piston, located above the barrel. Rotating bolt has six lugs. receiver is made from stamped and formed steel, furniture is polymer. Kalashnikov-type levers are made on either side of the gun; right lever acts as a safety switch, and left is fire mode selector (top position is for automatic fire, bottom for single shots). Shoulder stock is made from stamped steel and folds up and forward, when not in use. On latest production SR-2M weapons shoulder stock is redesigned to allow the gun to use red dot type sights regardless of stock position. Standard sights are of simple design, with protected front post and flip-up rear; SR-2M SMGs are often issued with collimating (red dot) type sights for faster target acquisition. Magazines are of standard box type, and hold 20 or 30 or 40 rounds of ammunition. SR-2M submachine guns also are fitted with folding front grip, made from polymer.

whatever it i wont beat the tompson.
if you really want a new SMG ask for the mp5k, they allready have it in onther version so we will get it evetually.
the only addition i really want to see in a GP crate is a MG, and for this i propose the Ultimax 100. -

Um first of all no need for a scope on a SMG and second the Uzi already has a beast RoF and you want it to be faster than that then no. I'd say give it the power of the MP7 and the RoF of the Uzi along with your suggested 3 seconds reload and make the clip 30 rounds.
Then i'd +1 it and IMO would be fairly balanced. -
