Best Story Ever
I am currently working on a tittle. Leave your comments, ratings (10/10 plox?) and suggestions.
*Located in North America, Nobility labs, time: 1420 hours
Entry Code 2202, Authorized.
“Bravo team, you have the green light. Move forward and secure until containment squads arrive” the sergeant says over the radio.
“Roger that. Unit 2 and 7, proceed.” Lieutenant Brax is anxious, and he grips his M4 Carbine tightly, he can’t forgive those bast**ds (sorry Z8 blocks "bad" words), not after what they did to his unit in Afghanistan.
Not after they released the virus on them.
The virus scanners show no signs of the virus outbreak puzzling the young soldier. “Hold up, hold up. Something’s wrong here.” he says to the 2 units.
But the scanners show the unit pushing forward, without hearing the message.
Deep inside the tunnel, Corporal Lee commands the fighting ravens. His rifle squads are one of the best in the marines, full of raw talent. Their radios have stopped working about 1 click ago after he gave the order of radio silence.
Using his night vision goggles, he locates a light switch, next to the power generator. He turns the generator on max power and the 12 inch thick steel door guarding the end of the tunnel begins to lurch back slowly. His unit walks down the corridor and turn when they see one of Nobility’s security staff sitting in the corner near a dead body. Immediately Medical Commander James runs forward with his medic pack to assist the fallen guard. “Sir, are you alright” he asks, “We’re here to help you.” But a low growl fills his response and the guard turns around with a bloody face and his mouth full of human body parts. James begins to run back but he’s too slow, the guard jumps on him and begins to bite into his stomach. His unit begins to fire on the guard, but it is too late. Commander James is dead from internal bleeding. “These things, we were never prepped on this kind of stuff. We were just supposed to get the vaccine and get out of here.” a pale soldier screams. Suddenly, Commander James, isn’t dead anymore. His body rises and the organs from his stomach ooze out. He rushes toward the team but is shot down. “What the hell? He was dead. I checked his pulse!” assistant medic Brittany says. “That thing, whatever it is, isn’t Commander James. These things aren’t human. Let’s return to the entrance, request backup, and I’ll provide them with the status report.” Lieutenant Brax shouts. As they head down the hall, the bottom of the concrete floor breaks apart and one of the men are dragged down. The hall fills from behind with the undead and more break through the floor, cutting off their escape. It’s not going to be long before they will be overwhelmed.
