Try this it works for me

I had this problem since i started playing crossfire. To fix this, First, run the game then press ctrl+alt+delete then start task manager. After that go to task manager, and press "SHOW ALL PROCESSES FROM ALL USERS" right-click on "crossfire.exe" then choose "set priority" and choose "realtime" close the task manager and enjoy playing less lagging game. Add me as your friend or join my clan if this works.(THE GAME SHOULD BE RUNNING WHEN YOU ARE DOING THE PROCESS)
