and rust, being a "competitive player" is not something good in my books
but hey thats just my oppinion

i think you dont have to be a tryhard to have fun

Whats wrong with playing leagues? I play leagues/tournaments and i'm a lovely ol'chap.
Malte and Kahlan are recognized as 2 of the best players to ever touch this game and every single time i've met both of them, they've been ridiculously generous and approachable in giving out tips and advice. Played Trio back in one of my old old teams and got destroyed 18-4 or something, bunz and kahlan stayed after the match to say we did this right, we can improve here etc.

I don't see whats so good about that. Regardless of whether you play leagues or not, its not as if saying every 'competitive player' is an a$$hole. Most 'pubstars' will kick me for any reason [or no reason]. Does this mean that playing pubs half the days is good? Everyone has they're own choices for what they enjoy.......this is mine.

people should stop QQing about boxshots

its not like people sit behind a box the whole game and start onepopping everyone.

Some people have to :). (100+ Pings)

But most are or percieved to be so.

Regardless, can we please talk about the original topic? You guys are going off a tangent here.

playing leagues is one thing but blaming other for not playing them is another :/

and for the red part, i so do not agree on this :/
  • Well, I don't like you either and it doesnt really bother me tbh.

And idk how 'most competitive players are all bad guys'. Its mostly rivalry between teams and players. This is what makes it fun, or else it would be boring. There wouldnt be any glory in winning.......as f*cked up as that sounds

    got nothing against competitive playing.
the problem is that competitive play should not be the standard

people in pubs should not be forced to follow some ruleset jest because some people think this is the only way of gaming :/

It's about time i ask this question.......

because our view on the subject on hand is diferent
  • The ideal thing would be to have uk3 and echo segregrated from the others if not a couple channels in WC and Miami. Have certain items banned, and then everyone will be happy. I might actually find a decent pub for meself and not be surrounded by loads of imbeciles.

that is not a nice thing to say
even tho its true :/, most randy pub players do fit the stereotype

Thing is, those are older and more mature players. Aren't Bunz, Kahlan and Malte all over twenty?

I'm not really into the community, nor do I play much, but I find amusement in reading some threads and i've seen these players once or twice. However, most of the newer 'competitive' side is younger players.

More on topic: Depending on the map, wallbang guns are just to strong. I really don't feel like getting into it, but there are many things you can do with a 100% dmg gun and boxes.
  • i will play if the scrub lite and noob m12 isnt in there cause if use one it means 20-25 ping + m12/scrub lite= noob qqers
  • i ll tell you something . lately i started care about leagues rules. i stopped using weapons that were banned from leagues , but i found it completely boring . i dont see an advantage when i use a xm8 or a silenced weapon after everybody use them. its still competitive

really 3-4 weapons ? thats not gaming

i find your idea pretty good
  • No because that leaves you with scar light light and xm8 -.-you set that up huh?
It should be actually the other way around m4-awm-ak
