Flag of country in game room info., and in the lobby.

Pretty sure I stole this from somewhere, if I did I apologize for doing so, as well as posting this without the said consent. Even though I did search to see if I found this idea on the forums, but couldn't get a result so meh.

What I meant by the title would be like, in the game lobby the rooms would have a flag showing what type of people would be playing. For example a BR host could put the Brazilian flag in the game room lobby options, just like with the modes/number of rounds, etc. to show that he only wished to play with other Brazilians, not Americans.

However, just because the said flag would be on the game room lobby, doesnt mean a different nationality couldn't join the room. All the flag would do, would be to show what nationality the host wished to play with, it wouldn't block anyone at all.

I'm not sure this would be implemented, but if it could be why not? Please post your opinion on the idea of puttting flags to show what nationality you wish to play with on the game room, also show any flaws in the idea as well if you would be so kind. Thank you for taking the time out to read such a thread.

  • I've also seen this somewhere (can't think of it off the top of my head) and I thought it was a damn good idea.

It's pretty helpful when choosing a room, and doesn't discriminate.

    I think no.

Well I'm already well aware of the hate between the English speaking populace and non-english speaking populace.

Frankly, this would do nothing but create a wall between people, I'm well aware of that as well. But honestly, are there not that many walls already even if they are untangible? This simply is a concrete version of that already existing wall.

So I fail to see what this would do to further seperate a community already seemingly divided into factions already, because again this would just be a tangible, rather than an abstract wall.
  • Umm because we have BP flag namecards?

If people really want to show their nationality then they should go ahead and purchase their flag in the mall.

Though taken into consideration some countries aren't there. Why..because they suck at soccer/football ;)

Not everyone who plays Crossfire understands english so they wouldn't understand to purchase those flags in that way.

As much as I've said about the flag rooms denotating which nationality the host wished to play with, it would help this community understand that their are plenty of players who speak english on this game as well, rather than be ignorant by saying that were the lowest population of player to play the game.

Btw in that case why is the US on that list XD
